Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Cartman had a dream about being in a boy band, which he saw as a sign from God. In the dream, where was the band performing?

Answer: Madison Square Garden, New York

When he awoke, Cartman felt sure that it was God's plan that he "start a boy band" and make $10 million. He immediately called the boys together to start work.
2. What did Butters sing when auditioning for the band?

Answer: Little Bunny Foo-Foo

Butters gave a rousing rendition of the classic "Little Bunny Foo-Foo", complete with hand gestures and full-body motion, but the other boys were unimpressed and Cartman promptly dismissed him.
3. Cartman's mom had made costumes for the band members. Who ended up getting to be "the tough one" in the band?

Answer: Kyle

Cartman had originally intended to be the tough one, but Kyle put up a fuss. Cartman argued that Kyle couldn't be the tough one because he was Jewish, but Kyle shot back that Jews had been tough "since Abraham." Fed up, Cartman let Kyle be the "tough" one (with facial piercings and a thin mustache) and wore an Elvis costume for himself.
4. The Mall Manager said the boys couldn't perform because what was in the plaza?

Answer: cheese and sausage cart

Though Cartman successfully distracted the guards so the band could sneak into the office, the "audition" didn't go quite as hoped:
Cartman: "Hello, sir!"
Mall Manager: "What? Hey. Who are you?"
Cartman: "We... are Fingerbang!"
Mall Manager: "O-o-oh. What? How'd you get in here? Hey."
Cartman: "We would like to audition for you for a gig in the central plaza of your fine mall."
Mall Manager: "What? O-oh. You wanna play at the mall? Like Tiffany?"
Cartman: "Sort of like Tiffany, yes. Can we audition?"
Mall Manager: "Oh. Well, I guess. ...What?"
Cartman: "Alright! Let's do it, boys!"
Fingerbang: [singing] "I'm gonna fingerbang-bang you into my life. Girl, you like to fingerbang, and it's alright. I'm goin' tuh fingerbang-bang you ever-y night."
Cartman: [in his solo] "And girl you know you're cool, you're good, you're so much nicer, girl. You're good. You're gonna be-"
Mall Manager: "Alright, that's enough!"
Cartman: [still singing] "-you're my fantasy, you fanta-"
Mall Manager: "Thank you."
Cartman: "Well. So, can we play here?"
Mall Manager: "What? ...No."
Cartman: "No?!"
Mall Manager: "Who? No."
Cartman: "Why not?"
Mall Manager: "Well, uh, uh, oh... Right now there's a cheese and sausage cart in the plaza. And I would, uh, I'd hate to have to move it off to the side for a while. What?"
Cartman: "You don't think we're any good, do you?"
Mall Manager: "No. I mean, you're just not quite as good as sausage and cheese."
Cartman: "Well, come on guys. We gave it our best."
Mall Manager: "Wow. That was your best?"
5. Trying to use Chef's advice, the boys were making a music video with screaming girls. Who did the girls say they'd get excited about seeing?

Answer: Matt Lauer

Chef told Cartman that boy bands were "created by corporations to make money. They're all based on the Gomlich effect." When Cartman asked for more information, Chef explained that the Gomlich effect was a "law of physics" stating that "if one girl screams for something, it will make other girls scream. And then it grows exponentiously until all girls within a five-mile radius are screaming." Chef explained that boy bands made videos with screaming female fans, and those got female viewers excited about the bands.

However, when Fingerbang started filming their video, the girls' screams were pretty lackluster. Cartman told them to "act like it's freakin' Leonardo DiCaprio" but the girls claimed to be uninterested in Leo. When Cartman asked who they would "go crazy for," they thought for a moment and unanimously answered, "Matt Lauer." When the started filming again, the girls screamed so exuberantly, that the boys scattered in fearful surprise!
6. Also according to Chef's advice, what did Cartman stuff down his pants?

Answer: cucumber

Chef clearly thought that the members of boy bands had an advantage if they seemed well-endowed, so advised Cartman to put a cucumber in his pants. Cartman did so, but didn't really seem to understand its purpose. When Kyle asked him what was "wrong" with his leg, Cartman explained that Chef had told him to put a cucumber down his pants "for good luck."
7. At the end of the band's music video, there was some footage of Cartman's mom engaging in sexual play with whom?

Answer: Mr. Mackey

Cartman had shown the Mall Manager their music video and convinced him to move the sausage and cheese cart to the side for 20 minutes. Then the video switched to what was apparently previous footage of Mr. Mackey handcuffed to a brick wall being dominated by Liane Cartman.

She told him he'd have to "drink from this glass" and then squatted over it and urinated into it. Cartman watched in horror, but the Mall Manager looked thrilled!
8. In Randy Marsh's story about his past as a boy-bander, what did he NOT say he lost after the producer determined him too old to be in a boy band?

Answer: llama

When Randy's boy band, the Ghetto Avenue Street Boys, had shot to fame, he became instantly rich, got a huge mansion, and landed tons of beautiful women. But as soon as the producer found a newer, younger boy band to work with, his debts to the studio started getting collected, and they took his car and house.

The women (clearly only interested in his wallet) left accordingly. Randy had to return to Colorado in shame and start his life over again, and he hoped to save his son from the same fate.
9. How did Kenny die?

Answer: smashed by elevator

Stan had finally arrived and Cartman was introducing the "five member" band when an elevator crushed Kenny. Unable to perform as a four member band (after all, that would have made them "look stupid") Cartman thought his dreams had finally come to an end. Luckily, though, Randy Marsh was there to step in and save the day!
10. After the performance, who was asked for an autograph?

Answer: Cartman

They were sitting on the stage counting their earnings ($2) when a little girl asked Cartman for his autograph. Before he could sign it for her, though, the mall security guard showed up and told her not to hassle the talent. She protested that she didn't even "really know who they are" but before she could finish, the guard sprayed her with pepper spray and she ran off screaming.
