1. At the start of this episode, Gary tells one of Phoebe's friends that he's going to ask her to move in with him. Which friend does he tell?

Answer: Monica

Gary, Phoebe, Chandler, and Monica are all sitting in the coffee shop when Gary and Monica both go up to the counter to get some drinks. Gary happens to mention to Monica at this point that he is going to ask Phoebe to move in with him, and Monica promises not to tell. Of course, then she has to go right away to tell Phoebe this new piece of information.

2. What does this friend tell Gary not to get Phoebe?

Answer: flowers

Monica explains to him how upset Phoebe gets when flowers die, and then she holds a funeral, so it's just easier to stay away from the whole mess.

3. When Joey and Ross are first throwing the ball to each other, what time is it when Ross checks his watch?

The missed lunch, the first time Joey had ever done such a thing. He checked, and it turns out that his pants were even a little loose.

Yes, they do in fact break up, a little after they move in together. They're in bed talking, and there's a bird outside their window cooing, when all of a sudden, Gary takes out a gun and shoots the bird.
