1. "BUZZ" was a popular comedy on the Comedy Network for many years. Who was inside the Hip-Hop Bunny suit?

Answer: Jean Paul

Jean Paul was a regular guest on the show. Daryn Jones and Morgan Smith were the regular hosts. This program originated on Rogers Commnunity Television, and was "picked-up" by the Comedy Network.
2. I used to work for Bell Canada. I hosted a late night show on CTV, then moved it to Global. After a few months it was cancelled. Who am I?

Answer: Mike Bullard

"Open Mike with Mike Bullard" was an unpopular "David Letterman" style show on CTV for many years, but Mike Bullard made a mistake moving it to Global Television. Global cancelled "The Mike Bullard Show" before the end of its first season there.

Answer: None. They are all allowed.

That's right. Anything goes on Canadian television. The only rule is that a warning is placed at the beginning of the program, indicating the show's contents. Canada also uses a rating system similar to the U.S. Shows are rated "C" for Children, "G" for General, "PG" for Parental Guidance, "14+" for Teens, and "18+" for Mature.
5. Most Canadian televsion programs have been produced in Toronto. Which one of these wasn't?

Answer: The Red Green Show

"Red Green" was produced by Steve Smith of S & S Productions. S & S Productions is in Hamilton. Most of the show was taped in and around Hamilton.
6. This show was about an antiques shop that sells "cursed" items.

Answer: Friday the 13th

The antiques shop owners had to track down cursed antiques that people had bought. Every week featured a different cursed antique.
7. This animated series aimed at teenagers tackled a different teenage issue every week. It mixed animation with clips from other sources.

Answer: Station X

"Station X" was produced in Quebec and aired on Teletoon. Clips from films and music videos were introduced into the animated plot.
8. This series started out as a web site and became a TV series.

Answer: Naked News

Naked News is a program where people talk about the news while...naked. It was only available on the Internet for a while. Then it was "picked-up" by CITY-TV in Toronto and shown during late-nights.
9. Johnny Guardhouse hosted a "raunchy" late-night TV show on the Comedy Network called "Gutter Ball Alley". Where did Johnny get his start in television?

Answer: Cable 14

Johnny was a regular on "Steel City Lingerie", a skit comedy produced at Cable 14 in Hamilton. This program featured comedy bits written by the Steel City Lingerie Troupe. Cable 14 is also where Eugene Levy, Andrea Martin, Martin Short, and John Candy got their start. Their troupe was called Second City.
10. Mark Humphrey and Sara Botsford starred in what drama series that took place at a fictional TV station in Toronto?

Answer: E.N.G

This was a very good and popular drama from the early 1990's. Mark Humphrey was an "E.N.G" camera operator on the series. Sara Botsford was a reporter. TV101 was a similar, and not so popular series produced in the U.S., about a high school television broadcasting class.
