"The Big Bang Theory" centers around adults who are in their 20s, and then in their 30s. Sheldon's dad died when Sheldon was 14. Sheldon's dad, George, can be seen on the spin-off "Young Sheldon", which takes place when Sheldon was nine.

Howard's father probably got tired of his always-yelling wife and so he left. If he didn't have a kid, probably no one would blame him. Howard hated him for it and never forgave him. Howard's dad sent Howard a letter when Howard was 18. Howard didn't find the letter until he was at least 30. Howard never read the letter, feeling his father doesn't deserve a chance to explain himself, so he destroyed it.

Sheldon read the letter, and he told all his friends except Howard what was in the letter. Then, they all went to Howard's house and gave him six different testimonies of what the letter said.

Sheldon's testimony is clearly false, but the other five testimonies all sounded nice and made Howard feel better. It is never revealed which testimony was the true one.

Answer: Bernadette

Bernadette's father is a retired cop. He's not nice to many people. He made his wife single-handedly raise Bernadette and all her siblings. He openly admits to Howard that he doesn't care if Howard dies in space because Bernadette will easily find a new guy. However, at a Thanksgiving party, he bonds with the unlikeliest of people, Sheldon. Bernadette's dad loves football. Sheldon knows a lot about football because he grew up in Texas and his father was a football coach and his brother was a football player. When Sheldon starts talking about things he learned from his dad about football, Bernadette's dad likes him. Sheldon tells Bernadette's dad that his father died when he was 14. Bernadette's dad gives Sheldon a beer so Sheldon can have a beer with Bernadette's father since he couldn't have one with his own father. This bonding moment makes Howard upset and it infuriates Bernadette, but Sheldon and her father do not care.

Actually, Sheldon's own father bonded has bonded with him over football. But that happened in "Young Sheldon," not on "The Big Bang Theory."

Answer: Penny

Penny married Leonard without telling anyone. When she called her father to tell him, he was very understanding and forgiving of Penny keeping such a major thing a secret. At first Penny thinks that he is the best dad ever because of this. Then it turns out there is a reason he is so understanding of this situation. It turned out that Penny's dad had been keeping a secret too. He accidentally killed her pet pig because he mowed the lawn while drunk.

For this question, I purposefully did not list "Sheldon" as an answer. "Sheldon" would be a correct answer, but that happened on "Young Sheldon" not on "The Big Bang Theory."

Raj was originally going to host a Christmas dinner, since he comes from the wealthiest family of any of his social group. However, that plan changes because his parents get divorced. Raj's father is very upset about this, and he goes to live with Raj so Raj can take care of him through this difficult time.

Answer: Amy

Amy's father is Teller of the duo Penn and Teller. Penn and Teller are a duo of magicians. Their gag is that only Penn talks. On "The Big Bang Theory," we learn that maybe the reason Teller was so quiet was because his wife was loud and mean. At Amy's wedding, Penny stands up to Amy's mom. After this, we finally hear Teller say just two words: "Thank you."

Howard may seem like a logical answer since he was interested in magic. It's never said that his father was a famous magician though.

Answer: Leonard

Leonard's father, first seen in the final episode of season nine, had been divorced by Leonard's mother years before we saw him. We first see him when he comes to Leonard and Penny's wedding. Before the wedding, he talks with Sheldon's mom. They somehow hit it off, and they leave the dinner early together and spend an evening together, turning off their cell phones. Since this was the final episode of the season, fans were left to spend the next three months wondering if Leonard's father and Sheldon's mother were going to become a couple. That didn't happen.

Answer: Sheldon

Sheldon's father appears on the spin off "Young Sheldon." He is portrayed by Lance Barber. What confuses many fans of "The Big Bang Theory" is that on that show, Barber played Jimmy Speckerman, someone who bullied Leonard in high school.

Answer: Penny

Penny has dated lots of men. Most of them are criminals, bad boys, or not smart. There is just one exception. So it is no surprise that her dad didn't like any of these with just one exception. The one exception was Leonard.

When we first meet Penny's dad, we learn that he was there to make sure Penny would only date Leonard. Leonard and Penny had broken up, but Penny pretended that they were still dating to please his father. At the end of the episode, they confess that they had broken up. Penny's father tells Penny that he is upset that she lied to him. Then he told Penny to leave and he gave Leonard advice that contradicted what he said to Penny. He told Leonard to do whatever it takes to win Penny back, even if it means lying.

Answer: Howard

Howard had two kids before any of the other three men even had one. We learn at the very end of season one of "Young Sheldon" that Sheldon eventually has kids, but we don't know when it happens, except that it happens after Howard already had at least two kids.
