"The Flash": Season 1 Trivia Quiz

This episode was titled "Flash Vs Arrow", and was a crossover between the two TV shows. In this episode, Arrow trained Flash to use his powers more wisely and to be more observant. After he was effected, Flash used the training against Arrow to fight him.

The battle ended when Dr. Wells (Thawne) and Detective Joe West appeared with a machine that produced light. Once the correct color pattern was presented, Flash was back to normal. However, it would take some time for the city to regain his trust.

The Dr. Wells that Barry knew was really Eobard Thawne from the future. Eobard Thawne went back in time and got stuck, so he killed the real Dr. Wells to impersonate him.

Answer: Firestorm

After the particle accelerator explosion, both Ronnie and Stein were thought to be dead. Actually they went into hiding after being affected by the explosion. Firestorm had to power to produce nuclear blasts of fire. At first, Firestorm was just Professor Stein trapped in Ronnie's body. Eventually the two were able to separate and were than able to merge freely.

Mark Hamill, who played Luke Skywalker in "Star Wars", reprised his role as The Trickster from the original "Flash" TV show in 1990. John Wesley Shipp, who originally played The Flash, also joined the new cast. In season one he was introduced as Barry's wrongly imprisoned father, Henry Allen.

Before the explosion, Grodd was experimented on in S.T.A.R. Labs. During this time, Dr. Wells (Thawne) was a partner of General Eiling, but backed out of the agreement after discovering Eiling's methods. After this, Eiling became an enemy of S.T.A.R Labs. Grodd would later develop powers and escape to the sewers, felling Well's evil commands.

For most of the season Barry kept it secret from Iris that he was The Flash to protect her. The first person to know other than those at S.T.A.R. Labs was Detective Joe. When Iris first started her blog, The Flash did not stick around after he saved people, so very few people believed in her blog. Both Joe and Barry (as himself and The Flash) attempted to persuade Iris to stop her blog in fear that metahumans would target her for information.

However, she did not stop, and soon others believed in The Flash.

Leonard Snart was an experienced thief that became known as Captain Cold. His partner Mick Rory, who acquired a flame thrower gun, became known as Heat Wave. Near the end of the season, The Flash and those at S.T.A.R. Labs asked Snart for help to transport metahumans to another location. Snart betrayed Barry, but allowed him to live because he saved Snart's sister.

Answer: Central City

Most of the events of "The Flash" took place in Central City. Barry at times visited Star City, where Arrow lived. In season two, Barry first met Supergirl, who lived in National City in a parallel universe.

Answer: The murder of his mother

Barry's mother was actually killed by The Reverse Flash, his sworn enemy from the future. His dad, Henry, was sent to jail for this, and no one would believe Barry or Henry's story until Barry got his powers and The Reverse Flash was seen again. After this, Barry and Detective West did everything they could to prove that Henry was innocent.

Henry was released from prison after The Reverse Flash died and a video was found where he admitted the truth.

Answer: Eddie

The Reverse Flash presented his weakness when he kidnapped Eddie to keep him alive. The Reverse Flash was from the future, and Eddie turned out to be his ancestor. In the season finale, Eddie scarified his life to save his friends and erased The Reverse Flash from existence.
