Jason Ironheart and Matthew Stoner are examples. Ironheart's abilities were so enhanced that he became a being of energy and thought. Stoner's telepathic abilities were altered to the result that he became an empath, able to feel and influence the emotions of another person.

In the episode, "Ship of Tears", Bester arrives in a Black Omega Starfury. The Black Omegas are also seen in the episodes "Mind War" and "Epiphanies".

In "Ship of Tears", Bester informs Sheridan of a shipment of weapons supplies being sent to the Shadows. In "The Face of the Enemy" Bester reveals the control that Garibaldi has been under since being captured in "Z'ha'dum".

Lyta appears in the first episode. She was a recurring character in seasons two and three, and then a regular in seasons four and five. Patricia Tallman played Lyta.

In "Divided Loyalties" we learn that Ivanova is also a latent telepath. Her mother's abilities were discovered late in life, after already having a family, so she opted for the sleepers. Ivanova describes that her mother sunk into a depression and finally committed suicide.

Although Ivanova has only ever been able to read her mother's mind, she is terrified that Psi Corps could learn of her latent abilities.

Sheridan agreed to let Byron create a home for rogue telepaths on the station, at the protests of Captain Lochley. Byron was once a protege of Bester, but became disgusted with the Psi Cops and the Corps. He wants only for his telepaths to live in peace, but Psi Corps will not accept this breach of the rules.

Instead of being captured, Byron and his telepaths commit suicide. The survivors, headed by Lyta, begin terrorizing Psi Corps targets with a rallying cry of "Remember Byron".

We learn in "A Race Through Dark Places" that Franklin, through contacts in the medical field, has been operating an underground railroad through Babylon 5. When Bester tracks them down, the telepaths, including Talia, trick him into believing that they have all been killed, and Bester leaves. Sheridan orders Franklin to stop bringing the telepaths through the station.

The telepaths found in "Ship of Tears" were altered by the Shadows to serve as the processing units of the ships. When awakened from stasis, they instantly bond to any electronic equipment in the area. Lyta is able to make contact with these telepaths on a base level.

Sheridan uses some of them as weapons by placing them onboard Earth vessels around Mars. Lyta then awakened them, where they began disrupting ship functions as they bonded with the ships, rendering them useless so Sheridan's forces could stand a better chance. Bester's lover was an altered telepath found in "Ship of Tears" that was not used during the battle.

In "Divided Loyalties" we learn that Talia Winters is just the cover personality for a Psi Corps spy called 'Control'. Lyta discovered that there was a spy on board Babylon 5 and used a password to identify the spy. Once the code was sent, the sleeper personality would automatically surface.

The command staff was shocked to discover that it was Talia, and none too soon as they were about to welcome her into their conspiracy.

Bloodhound Units are telepaths specially trained to use their psi abilities to track down rogue telepaths. The Bloodhound Units play an important role in Bester's attempt to capture Byron and his group of blips.

Stoner and Talia were an arranged marriage by the Psi Corps based on their genetic compatability in order to breed stronger telepaths. Stoner was supposedly the only person ever to leave the Corps because he had lost his telepathic abilities. In reality, he was experimented on by the Corps, becoming an empath, and was trying to get Talia to come away with him so they could breed empath babies for the Corps.

This is from the episode "Leagacies". Alisa's psi abilities were awakened what 14 when on the station, drawing Talia's attention. Ivanova was notified of the situation and went to convince Alisa that there were options besides Talia's Psi Corps. Alisa turned down the Narn offer, as well a the Corps, and chose to go to Minbar where the minds were less alien than the Narns and telepaths are treated with honor.

Although Psi Corp's headquarters are on Earth, as we learn in "Phoenix Rising", the facilities we see in "The Corps is Mother, The Corps is Father" are located in Syria Planum on Mars. This facility is also mentioned in the first season episode, "A Voice in the Wilderness".

William Edgars, head of Edgars Industries based on Mars, thinks that telepaths have too much power and control over EarthGov. He developed the virus to keep the telepath population dependent on the vaccine. Since his pharmaceutical company would control the distribution of the vaccine, Edgars would gain more power.

This is one of my favorite exchanges from the episode "A Spider in the Web". Ivanova: "Well you know how I feel about telepaths." Sheridan: "Do I ever. You threw one out of a third story window on Io." Ivanova: "There was an ample pool below." Sheridan: "I'll assume you knew that."

Psi Corps has an extensive propaganda arm, and the commercial during the ISN broadcast is no exception. Little Johnny's having trouble at school because he's different and he can feel that the other kids don't like him. His mother is worried, but in pops a vigilant Psi Cop who tells Johnny that he is special and the Psi Corps will take him in to be with other kids like Johnny.

The proud mother looks at his happy, successful son after two weeks of training with the Corps. As the announcer kindly informs the audience to turn in anyone they think is a telepath, the hidden message pops up for the minimum number of frames required by television regulations.
