Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Helical Hill

Answer: spiral mountain

Banjo, Kazooie, Tooty and Bottles the Mole call Spiral Mountain home, which gets its name from, you guessed it, the spiral mountain in the centre. Gruntilda's Lair looms over the area, with a bridge connecting the entrance with the spiral mountain. Several giant vegetables can be found here, like Topper the carrot, and Collywobble the cauliflower. Bottles teaches Banjo's basic skills here as well.
2. Memo Entry

Answer: note door

There are seven note doors found throughout Gruntilda's Lair that allow Banjo further access. Note doors require a certain amount of musical notes to be able to open. By collecting all 100 notes in each level, Banjo should have no trouble when it comes to these doors. He even does a little dance when one opens, so it really is worth finding those notes.
3. Sea of Corroded Pails

Answer: rusty bucket bay

Grab your gas masks and don your dirty overalls as Banjo heads into the filthy, toxic world of Rusty Bucket Bay. At first glance it may look simple, but a host of enemies will do anything to stop you from collecting all the items. Beware the polluted water, although there may be someone in need of help at the bottom. A note to travelers: stay away from Snacker!
4. Azure Ova

Answer: blue eggs

Kazooie's ammunition comes in the form of blue eggs, which can be found almost anywhere. She can fire them two ways: out of her beak at high speed, or out the back at a not-so-high speed. Kazooie doesn't seem to mind the discomfort of the latter. She's one tough chicken, I mean, breegull!
5. Estate of Insane Beasts

Answer: mad monster mansion

Scared? Don't worry! Mad Monster Mansion isn't as bad as it sounds. There's only ghosts and bats and skeletons and the odd possessed gravestone. If the outside gives you the chills, why not head inside and warm yourself up by the fire. Who knows, maybe there's a Jiggy or two in it for you.
6. Chief Stereo

Answer: boss boom box

The big bad boss of Rusty Bucket Bay is Boss Boom Box. No, he won't play loud, awful songs while you find a way to turn down the volume. He's just a simple, exploding box. Hit him, and he'll explode into two smaller boom boxes. Each of them will spawn two smaller ones, too. But don't worry! A bit of Wonderwing-ing from Kazooie and you'll make matchsticks out of him!
7. Gilded Quills

Answer: gold feathers

Golden feathers, although they look pretty and shiny, are deadly in the hands of a determined Breegull...and Kazooie is determined. The Wonderwing move makes use of gold feathers, and is taught in the belly of Clanker the trash compactor. For a limited time, Kazooie can use her wings as a shield for Banjo as he runs through obstacles or enemies without so much as a scratch.
8. Snap Chronometer Forest

Answer: click clock wood

No clocks here, just four seasons, and some familiar faces. Gobi makes a return appearance, and Mumbo gets a bit picky when it comes to his transformation. See, he won't transform you in Summer because it's too hot, he won't do it in Winter because it's too cold, and he won't even do it in Autumn, because he has leaves to sweep. Seems like he'll only change you into a bee in Spring.
9. Additional Vitality

Answer: extra life

The shining gold statue high above your head on a platform can only mean one thing - an extra life! If you're having a bit of trouble with a particular stage, try scouring the area for these trophies to give yourself a few more attempts at your task. Stocking up on these won't go astray when it comes time for Grunty's Furnace Fun.
10. Splashing Galoshes

Answer: wading boots

The ultimate protection against those pesky piranhas, the Wading Boots allow Banjo and Kazooie to cross perilous bodies of water to reach other areas. Once you learn the move outside Bubblegloop Swamp, you'll be running around blowing raspberries at the piranhas in no time! Better keep an eye on how far you are away from land, because if the boots wear out, then it's happy times for the piranhas and not-so-happy times for Banjo's legs.
