1. What is the final weapon you receive in the game?

Answer: The Gauntlet of Zeus

The Gauntlet of Zeus is acquired near the end of the game and it allows you to perform some deadly attacks.

The Blades of Chaos are your default weapon in the game. The Spear of Destiny is only available in "God of War 2". Athena's Blades are the default weapon in "God of War 2".

2. Who is the final boss in the game?

Answer: Persephone

Persephone is the Queen of the Underworld. Zeus is the final boss in "God of War 2". Atlas in in "God of War" and "God of War: Chains of Olympus" but you never fight him. Caliope is the daughter of Kratos.

3. When you beat the game you unlock a new costume. What is the costume called?

Answer: The Spud of War

The Spud of War is Kratos in a potato costume. The Cod of War is Kratos dressed up as a fish but it is only available in "God of War 2". The McKratos costume is Kratos portrayed as the typical Scotsman (Ginger hair, Kilt etc) and is unlocked by completing The Challenge of Hades.

The Chef of War is unlocked by completing the first "God of War". It makes Kratos a chef who uses frying pans as his weapons.

4. Which God causes the other Gods into a deep slumber?

Answer: Morpheus

Morpheus takes advantage of the fact that Helios has disappeared. Hades, the lord of the underworld, never actually appears in "God of War: Chains of Olympus". Helios, the sun god, disappears along with the sun. Athena only talks to you as a statue in "God of War: Chains of Olympus".

5. After defeating the Basilisk and leaving Attica where do you go?

Answer: The City of Marathon

The City of Marathon is covered in darkness due to the disappearance of Morpheus. Athens doesn't appear in "God of War: Chains of Olympus". You don't go to the underworld until later on in the game. The Fields of Elysium are one of the last places you go in the game.

6. Sony published this game everywhere except for Japan. Who published it in Japan?

Answer: Capcom

Namco, Konami and EA had nothing to do with the game at all but Capcom published the game in Japan. These game companies have been extremely successful in Japan.

7. How many Magic spells do you receive throughout the game?

Answer: Three

In the Playstation 2 games you get four spells but in "God of War: Chains of Olympus" you only get three. These spells are the Efreet, The Light of Dawn and Charon's Wrath.

8. Where do you fight Charon?

Answer: Charon's ferry in the river Styx

You fight Charon on his ferry in the river Styx but he defeats you and you end up in Tartarus. Later on you obtain the Gauntlet of Zeus which you need to use to defeat him when you fight him a second time.

9. How you get into the fields of Elysium?

Answer: Release all your past evils and powers to The Forsaken Tree

After you sacrifice your powers you lose all your weapons, magic and most of your health. You then get into Elysium and find your daughter.

10. What punishment does Atlas receive at the end of the game?

Answer: He must hold the world on his shoulders

In one part of the final boss fight you chain Atlas to the world forcing him to hold it up. In "God of War 2" you see Atlas and he has to hold the world up.
