1. Who is the first party member you gain in the original "Knights of the Old Republic?"

Answer: Trask Ulgo

Trask is your bunk mate aboard the Endar Spire and a temporary party member. Carth is the first permanent member, T3 comes later in the game (and in the second game) and Kreia is also from the second game.

2. Who do you obtain the Ebon Hawk from?

Answer: Davik Kang

You steal the Ebon Hawk after killing Kang. Calo Nord is the bounty hunter working for him, Canderous is the Mandalorian helping you, and Darth Malak is the main antagonist of the game.

3. Complete this phrase from the Sith Code. You learn this on Korriban. 'Through victory...' What is the correct phrase to finish the line?

Answer: my chains are broken

This is the final phrase of the Sith Code that you can learn from Yuthura. It is one of the first things you can do to gain 'prestige' at the academy. Eventually, you will either have to kill her, Master Uthar, or both of them to be able to leave the academy.

Answer: Taris, Manaan

You must sneak into the bases on Taris and Manaan to advance the storyline. I hope you didn't answer Dantooine/Telos because Telos is a planet only visited in the second game!

5. What vicious animal have the Rakata tamed on the Unknown Planet, also known as Rakata Prime?

Answer: Rancors

Many of these are prowling the grounds of the Rakata base. Boma beasts can be found on Dxun and Onderon in the second game. Terentateks are found on Korriban, and although there are Gizka on Rakata Prime, they are not vicious.

6. Who do we find out is responsible for the murder of everyone on the Peragus Mining Facility?

Answer: HK-50

The HK-50 assassin droids haunt you throughout the game, and continually confront you time after time. Kreia has been feigning death while at the facility, so it could not have been her, HK-47 is a bonus character you can unlock (with the right parts) and Darth Sion is the Sith Lord of Pain that tries to capture you on Peragus.

7. What is the special ability of Bao Dur, the Zabrak you meet on the ruined surface of Telos?

Answer: shield-breaker

This is Bao-Dur's unique ability, and it proves very useful in certain parts of the game where your way is blocked by force fields. He can easily break through them with this ability. He does upgrade droids and has a very high Computer Use ranking, but they are not special abilities.

Answer: Esok

Esok has very little health or fighting skills, and you should be able to beat him within a few rounds. Canderous actually is Mandalore, Bendak is a Mandalorian on Taris in the original game, and Kip is something I just made up.
After you defeat him, the other two Mandalorians that accompany him agree to report to Dxun for further instruction.

9. What is the name of the Jedi Master you meet on Nar Shaddaa?

Answer: Zez-Kai Ell

Zez-Kai Ell is one of the masters who had banned you from the Order after you returned from following Revan. He first appears in a vision after you are knocked out by Mira, and then you will not be able to meet him until after you destroy Goto's ship.

10. What is the name of the location in Trayus Academy on Malachor V that you must defeat Kreia/Darth Traya at?

Answer: Trayus Core

All of these are locations within the Academy. Elite Sith troopers attack you throughout the academy, and some are quite difficult to beat, such as the Sith Marauders. Kreia first attacks you in a traditional Jedi battle, but somehow has hundreds of HP and is much more skilled than you could have ever upgraded her.

Then, she will attack you with three floating lightsabers. After that, she is easily defeated.
