1. What's in the room under the stairs in the house that has the first villager you encounter?

Answer: Skulls and bones

Leon assumes that Ashley is in that state when he sees all the bones. Other than that, there is nothing significant about this room. It's just there to add to the creepiness.

2. Before you reach the village, you see some villagers hanging around the edge of a small cliff. How many of them are up there?

Answer: Three

You can't kill these guys when you see them. They will point at you, yell something in their language, and run away. A bit later, they will give you a surprise.

3. Are there bear traps in the village and farm area the first time around?

Answer: No

You see your first bear trap before the village and then you see them in the area with the dynamite wielding villagers. When you go through the village and farm the second time around, you will see a bunch of them.

4. How many blue medallions are in the farm area?

Answer: Seven

There are seven in the farm area and eight in the cemetery area. However, you only have to get ten for the free Punisher.

5. Is there always an item to pick up every time you shoot down a bird's nest?

Answer: No

This is kind of a trick question. The first time you shoot them down, you can usually find gems and ammunition. When they reappear the second time you come around an area, there is nothing in them.

6. What effect do the purple grenades have on enemies?

Answer: There are no purple grenades

There are only blue (Flash Grenades), green (Hand Grenades), and red (Incendiary Grenades). The blue ones are most effective against exposed parasites.

She is able to contact you until you get inside the castle. Then you don't see or hear from her until you complete your mission.
