1. Who are the characters that you can play in the game?

Answer: Toad (Blue), Luigi, Mario and Toad (Yellow)

These four characters are the only playable ones in this game. There are other characters, such as Bowser Junior, but you have to beat him, not play as him. Buzz, Woody, Jessie and Bullseye are some characters from "Toy Story 2 and 3" and Dog, Cat, Horse and Pig are just animals, so it was just enough to know that Bowser is an unplayable enemy.

2. What happens when you get 100 coins?

Answer: You get a life

You expect something good to happen when you get coins, so that rules out the 'You die' answer. The other two are just made them up, so that leaves us with 'You get a life'! If you've ever had 100 coins before, you've seen the words '1-up' on the top left of your screen.

3. How many worlds are there in the game?

Answer: Nine

In each of these worlds there are eight different enemies to face, and each one is either one of Bowser's minions or a witch. However, there is one secret world at the end (World 9) which looks like Rainbow Road from 'Mario Kart 64' but the levels are based on World 7.

4. What do the Piranha Plants/Venus Fire Traps shoot at you?

Answer: Fire

It's named after the Venus Fly Trap, the plant that eats flies. These piranhas pop out of pipes in lots of levels.

5. Who are the characters trying to rescue?

Answer: Peach

Bowser has captured Peach on her birthday and conveniently Mario and Luigi are there, so they chase after Bowser and his crew to rescue her. After they have set off, loads of power-ups are shot out of a cannon to help them. Daisy is Peach's best friend however she's not in this video game, and Bowser is the villain.

6. What can you redeem star coins for?

Answer: Movies

You can redeem star coins for movies. You can watch the movies at Peach's Castle, which is at the start of World 1. These movies show you how the makers of the game complete the level, which includes all the cheats, glitches and hidden places in that level.

7. Where do you mostly battle the bosses?

Answer: Castles

You battle the bosses in a castle. There are two castles/fortresses in each world. Once you have beaten the boss that is in that level, he hops over to the second castle in which you battle him for the world you're in.

8. If you have a red mushroom power-up, how many times do you have to get hit before you die?

Answer: Two

If you have no power-up or a blue mushroom you have to be hit once to die, if you have a star you can be hit as many times as you want until it runs out. You won't die, if you have a helicopter, fire, ice, or penguin; you have to be hit three times to die.

9. What type of creature (named Yoshi) helps you in some levels?

Answer: Dinosaur

Yoshi first helps you in World 1. There are four different colours of this dinosaur: Green, Yellow, Pink and Blue.

10. Where is Mario from?

Answer: New York, New York

Even though you hear Mario talking in an Italian voice, his history claims that he's from New York! Brooklyn, to be exact.
