Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. One of the first things you'll notice in the peak is an igloo near the start/exit pad. When you enter you see three polar bear cubs. When you enter the igloo what are the designs on the kids' clothes from left to right?

Answer: pink and yellow diamonds, green diamonds, blue diamonds

These three polar bear cubs belong to a neglectful father named Boggy. If you find the bears' three presents, they'll give you a Jiggy. Also the sad music in the igloo will turn into a happy song and they'll jump and cheer. You can get three Jiggies from Boggy, two as Banjo, and one as a walrus, which Mumbo will transform you into one if you have fifteen Mumbo tokens. Boggy's kids also appear in "Banjo-Tooie" in Witchyworld with their mother Mrs. Boggy.

However, in this game one is a girl, and they all have names and if you bring them all back to Mrs. Boggy you get a Jiggy.
2. There are five evil snowmen scattered across the peak. Although big, they can be defeated and yield items. Which item can be found under two different snowmen?

Answer: Mumbo tokens

Out of the five evil snomwen there is a Mumbo token under two of them. Another one holds two gold feathers. The other two hold more valuable items. One holds one of the two empty honeycombs in the world, the other being in Wozza's cave, and the other snowman covers the Witch Switch of the world.

In addition to these items each snowman provides a piece of honeycomb energy. And also in addition to these items, if you defeat all five of them, you'll earn a Jiggy and it will appear at the very top of the large snowman's hat.

The really annoying thing about these guys is that one happens to sneak out while you are exploring the world and stays by the entrance to throw snowballs at you. The only way to defeat these snowmen is by Beak Bombing the X on their hats.
3. Usually, enemies reflect the world they reside in. Two enemies don't reflect a winter theme. One of them is the group of Twinklie Munchers and the other enemy, that doesn't fit the theme, appeared in which previous world?

Answer: Mumbo's Mountain

That would be really odd for an enemy from Treasure Trove Cove to appear in a winter theme, same with Gobi's Valley. The enemy that appears from Mumbo's Mountain are the termites known as Tickers. They appear on the first level of the Christmas tree, which makes sense, since they eat wood but you would not find insects in a winter theme.

The tree takes a lot of work for only one Jiggy, but it helps you with notes and a Mumbo token as well. In order to light up the tree first you must get a certain amount of Twinklies to the tree by Beak Busting the Twinklie Munchers repeatedly.

The next step is to go to the back of the tree(watch out for the ice cubes)and shoot three eggs on the On switch. The last step is you have to rush to the Flight Pad, near the presents, and fly through the star at the top of the tree three times.

Then all that's left is to climb the tree trunk to reap the rewards.
4. Which of the following is NOT unique about Freezeezy Peak?

Answer: it is the only world where an enemy splits into two smaller ones when hit

There are two other worlds in where if an enemy is hit they split into more enemies. The ice cube enemy is what I'm talking about, and they make a reappearance in the winter time in Click Clock Wood. Also the boss of Rusty Bucket Bay, Boss Boom Box, is the same way, except it takes more than one hit to split into smaller parts.

This is the only world with a Mumbo transformation, a walrus, directly after another world with a Mumbo transformation which is the alligator in Bubblegloop Swamp. Also in order to get everything in the world you need the Turbo Trainers which you will learn about in Gobi's Valley.

This is the only time this happens but in "Banjo-Tooie" it's a prevalent theme as different moves and different locales are needed to get all the items in a level.

The Turbo Trainers also appear in the chamber of Mr. Vile in Bubblegloop Swamp, but they are not needed to get his Jiggy.
5. What color are the giant snowman's eyes?

Answer: green

Once again this is another overtly detailed question but you can see them pretty easily. The giant snowman holds a lot of valuable items. In order to get to most of them you will have to climb his scarf in which each yellow stripe will hold a musical note and each red stripe will hold a red feather.

There are a total of four Jiggies to get from the snowman and two parts of one. The first Jiggy you get is by destroying all the evil snowmen. This Jiggy will appear on top of the snowman's hat encased in an ice cube enemy.

The next Jiggy can be obtained by Beak Bombing the three buttons on the snowman's front. Once these are hit a Jiggy appears on the platform that the snomwan is standing on. Once you get to the snowman's mouth, if you climb out on his pipe and drop in another Jiggy awaits.

The last Jiggy that the snowman provides is also thanks to Boggy. On the top level of the snowman's scarf is a sled. If you jump on the sled you ride it off the scarf landing on Boggy forcing a Jiggy out of his body. Also doing this will make access available for another Jiggy.
6. Another detailed question, which of the following is NOT one of the designs of wrapping paper in the present pile where Bottles is?

Answer: blue with snowflakes

There is a present that is blue with white snowflakes but it is not in the present pile. It is close to it and it houses one of the evil snowmen that you need to destroy. You can learn the Beak Bomb here, get a few notes, a Mumbo Token, and the Pink Jinjo. Also this is the closest Flight Pad to fly through the star when going for the Christmas tree Jiggy.
7. What item will you find on the top of Mumbo's hut?

Answer: Golden Banjo

There are a lot of Golden Banjos in this level and if you fly to the top of Mumbo's hut you'll find one of the many. Golden Banjos provide an extra life.
8. How many slalom flags, when racing Boggy, would you have passed over when you cross over the first house in the village?

Answer: Eighteen

Eighteen, oddly enough, is also the same amount of notes you can find on the snowman's scarf. I can't ask how many slalom flags there are on the entire course because that is a question that will appear later in "Grunty's Furnace Fun." There are two slalom races to win here but in order to do so you need three things. You need to get the sled off the large snowman, fifteen Mumbo tokens, and you need to know how to use Turbo Trainers. Once you get the sled off and give it to Boggy, he will start practicing. If you have fifteen Mumbo tokens, you will have enough to be turned into a walrus which is the first slalom race. You have to pass through all the flags and get to the finish line first.

The next slalom race is only available after you beat Boggy as the walrus.

The second race is against Banjo and unless you know how to use Turbo Trainers you're not going to have even a chance of winning.
9. Once again it's time for where can you NOT find a Jinjo?

Answer: on the giant snowman's nose

Just because it's not on the giant snowman's nose doesn't mean the giant snowman doesn't have one. You will actually find one of the three presents for Boggy's kids on the giant snowman's nose. The Blue Jinjo is held by the giant snowman and is pretty easy to see when on the giant snowman's scarf.

The Blue Jinjo is standing on the giant snowman's broom. The Orange Jinjo can be found in Wozza's cave but can only be accessed after gaining entrance to his cave by being a walrus and talking to him, but you have to be Banjo to get the Jinjo.

The Green Jinjo is behind a house in the small three house village. The Yellow Jinjo can be found in the rafters of Mumbo's hut and the Pink Jinjo as previously stated is on the present pile near Bottles.
10. Somewhere in Freezeezy Peak there is an item that pertains to a dragon.

Answer: True

Yes, for those of you who know, the Ice Key found behind an ice wall in Wozza's cave has the ability to unlock a safe in "Banjo-Tooie," releasing a Mega Glowbo. This Glowbo gives Humba Wumba the power to transform Kazooie into a dragon. This sidequest in the game is not necessary but entertaining.

The Ice Key is one of the three items shown at the end of the game "Banjo-Kazooie" if you get all 100 Jiggies. With the winter wonderland conquered, you go out from the freezer and into the frying pan as Banjo and Kazooie have to traverse a monstrous desert. You are one step closer to rescuing Tooty.
