Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What role does Bottles play in LOGBox 720?

Answer: Pasty Techno Geek

Bottles, along with many other characters from the series, has been brought into the Showdown Town world to aid Banjo and Kazooie in their quest to defeat Gruntilda. Bottles acts as a tour guide in Showdown Town, the Reclusive Pilot in Nutty Acres, the Pasty Techno Geek in LOGBox 720, the Pompous Curator in Banjoland, and in the Jiggosseum, he is the Least Likely To Succeed.

He doesn't appear in the Terrarium of Terror.
2. What is the name of Grunty's purple cat?

Answer: Piddles

After Klungo finally got sick of Grunty abusing him and left to make arcade games, she arrives in Showdown Town with nary a sidekick in sight. LOG alleviates this problem by giving her Piddles, a purple, flea-ridden cat. Piddles aids Grunty in some challenges, and is meant to be the stereotypical cat that witches seem to always have.
3. Which of these worlds is unlocked last?

Answer: Terrarium of Terror

The Terrarium of Terror is located in the Uptown district of Showdown Town. Overgrown plants snake their way through each of the domes that make up the Terrarium, which appears to be floating in space. The level sees the return of some familiar features, including the Saucer of Peril and an advertisement for Witchyworld on a spaceship (both from "Banjo-Tooie"), and the Mad Monster Mansion theme from "Banjo-Kazooie" in the music.
4. What is the name of the chief police pig?

Answer: Pikelet

Pikelet heads the police force in Showdown Town, and can be found outside the police station near the docks. If Banjo frees a Jinjo from a cell, Pikelet asks that he find a replacement prisoner for the cell. Minjos are the replacements, so when Banjo finds one and imprisons it, Pikelet sends his thanks.

However, any law-breaking and he'll send the police after Banjo. He also appears in a few game worlds as a challenge host.
5. Mr Patch, a boss from Witchyworld in "Banjo-Tooie", first appears in which world?

Answer: Nutty Acres

All patched up and ready to fight again, Mr. Patch serves as a boss in one of Nutty Acres' jiggy challenges. Like before, Banjo must shoot his patches in order to defeat him. But this is not the last he sees of Mr. Patch. He returns, in Banjoland, repaired and without patches, instead having a metal hide which cannot be pierced with normal attacks.
6. How many footballs are there in Mumbo's Test-O-Track?

Answer: Three

Mumbo's Test-O-Track is an area where Banjo can test out his newly created vehicles in a variety of situations, from water to rocky terrain to ice to the air. Three footballs are located in the track - one on land, one in the water, and one suspended in mid-air.
7. Which upgrade to the trolley is acquired first?

Answer: High-grip wheels

Upgrades to the trolley are acquired by defeating Grunty in her challenges in each game world. The High-Grip wheels are unlocked first, which allow the trolley to scale steep, slippery slopes at the cost of reduced speed. The Floaters are unlocked next, and allow the trolley to float on water. Banjoland's Grunty Challenge unlocks the Spring, which makes the trolley jump into the air when activated.

The Scuba Seat allows Banjo to travel underwater without losing air. The Laser has the power to shut down laser grids, allowing access to hidden areas.

The Horn is the last upgrade, and is used to scare away ghosts from some Mumbo Crates.
8. Where in Showdown Town would you find Klungo?

Answer: At the arcade on the pier

Klungo's first arcade game, Hero Klungo Sssavesss Teh World, is playable at the arcade on the pier. The game is relatively simple, and involves jumping over gaps and obstacles to reach the boss fight against Grunty. Klungo also serves as a challenge host in Nutty Acres, LOGBox 720, Banjoland and the Terrarium of Terror.
9. Which of these is not a possible reward for a challenge?

Answer: Extra life

Interestingly, it is impossible for Banjo to die in this game. Unlike previous games, once Banjo runs out of health, he will faint, while Kazooie slaps his face until he gets back up again with full health. Thus, an extra life is not a reward for a challenge, as it is impossible to gain an extra life. Depending on the level of achievement in each challenge, Banjo will be rewarded with musical notes, a jiggy, or a T.T. Trophy. Earning a Jiggy for a challenge will also reward Banjo with musical notes, and getting a T.T. Trophy will result in musical notes and a jiggy in addition to the trophy. Every four T.T. Trophies that Banjo wins earns him one jiggy from Trophy Thomas.
10. Does the game follow the tradition of the series and end with a quiz?

Answer: Yes

In the style of the previous games, "Nuts and Bolts" ends with a trivia quiz, hosted by L.O.G. However, the questions are only textual - there are no 'where is this' pictures, or 'what makes this sound' questions. The questions are interspersed with the second last challenge of the game, Six of the Best.

This challenge requires Banjo to build a vehicle capable of flying, hovering, floating and racing in order to complete six challenges. Each correct answer results in additional time to complete the challenge, so the more correct answers Banjo gives, the more chance he has of getting a good reward, like a T.T. Trophy.
