1. Which omega mod covers the enemy in boiling lava?

Answer: Napalm

The Napalm mod is handy when equipped with the B6-Obliterator (or B11-Vaporizer). When you fire the gun and the bomb hits the enemy, they suddenly become covered in searing hot napalm. They then burst into flames.

2. The Ammo alpha mod can do what?

Answer: Expand the weapon's magazine

It is handy to equip several Alpha mods onto one weapon to really expand the weapon's magazine. This should be applied to the Dual Vipers (or Dual Raptors).

3. You can buy Omega mods once you have finished the game.

Answer: False

You cannot buy omega mods when you have finished the game. You can, however, buy alpha mods. These mods range from simple Ammo mods to Jackpot mods (increase the number of bolts you get from each kill), Nanoleech mods (spawns Nanoleeches that take the enemies health and gives it to you) and XP mods (increases the rate of experience that your weapon gains).

The Mini-Bomb mod is similar to a weapon in "Ratchet & Clank 3". This weapon is the Bouncer.

There are no such mods as Grenade and Explosion. The Time-Bomb plants the grenades on the enemies. The grenades then detonate, causing the foe to explode with it. I would best recommend attaching the Time-Bomb mod on to The Arbiter (or The Silencer).

Answer: True

The Alpha mods are rather expensive to purchase. A simple Ammo mod costs 100,000 bolts, whereas Nanoleech and XP mods cost up to 5,000,000 bolts.

7. When you enter Challenge mode, you have the added luxury of purchasing Mega versions of weapons. Can you upgrade these weapons to a Giga version?

Answer: No

Unlike "Ratchet & Clank 3", you can't upgrade your weapons to Mega, Giga and Omega. In this game, you only upgrade to Mega. From there on, your weapon grows stronger every 10 levels until level 99 when the upgrades stop. At level 99, however, your weapon shoots multicolored ammo.

8. The Holoshield Launcher cannot have any Omega mods equipped to it.

Answer: False

You can equip Omega mods to the Holoshield Launcher (and Omnishield Launcher). The mods are activated when an enemy hits the shield. You are only allowed to equip certain mods though, such as Acid, Shock and Freeze. Time-Bomb and Napalm do not work.

9. When you begin the game again in Challenge mode, you lose all of your Omega mods.

Answer: False

You get to keep all of your Omega mods when you enter Challenge mode. However, there are no new Omega mods to purchase.

10. Which of the following Omega mods are similar to the Infector from "Ratchet & Clank 3"?

Answer: Brainwash

I made up the Convert mod and the Acid mod just disintegrates your enemies. The Morph mod changes foes into farm animals, so the only one left is the Brainwash mod. Handy for all those tight spots with lots of enemies around you.
