Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who is Captain Qwark relaying the game's story to in the prison?

Answer: Shiv Helix

At the beginning of the game, we see Captain Qwark in prison, for a crime as yet unknown. He relates his (at times embellished for the sake of his ego) story to fellow inmate Shiv Helix, who initially expresses awe at the feats accomplished by his new cellmate but eventually becomes dismayed at his treachery and betrayal of the Galactic Rangers.
2. Aleero City is found on which planet?

Answer: Kerwan

Once given the decidedly generic name of Metropolis, Kerwan's navigable city has been given a nominal makeover and become Aleero City, a sprawling... well, metropolis. Blarg, Big Al, bolts and, of course, the railway station can all be found throughout the city, along with the Hall of Heroes, home to the Galactic Rangers.
3. What special item do you find in the sewers on planet Pokitaru?

Answer: O2 Mask

Handily, for a watery planet like Pokitaru, the O2 mask provides you with all the air you need, so you can merrily swim around, detonating all the explosive crates you can find. Unlike the original game where you'd find Fred the scientist and receive a Persuader gadget, you'll simply find the O2 mask on its own at the end of the Amoeboid-filled sewers.
4. Into which weapon does the Predator Launcher upgrade?

Answer: Raptor Launcher

A weapon which had only appeared twice before in the series (debuting in the PS3 adventure "Tools of Destruction" and appearing in the following game "Quest for Booty"), the Predator Launcher locks onto enemies for as long as you hold the fire button. Release it and the missiles will whizz away towards their target. Ouch. Raritanium upgrades to the Predator Launcher including allowing it to have a greater ammo capacity, giving it the ability to lock onto more enemies at once and increasing the number of missiles that can target a single enemy.
5. What is used to unlock cheats and game extras?

Answer: Gold bolts

Unfortunately, there are no gold weapons to spend your hard-earned gold bolts on this time around. Instead, they're used to unlock minor modifications to gameplay, such as changing the appearance of bolts or applying a film noir-esque filter to the game.
6. Which of these is one of your opponents in the hoverboard racing tournaments?

Answer: Chester St Cloud

The high-speed thrills of the hoverboard tournaments on planets Rilgar and Kalebo III provide a brief interlude in your adventure as you race around a circuit against some pretty tough opponents. The tracks themselves are largely the same as they were when we first encountered them in 2002.

It takes a combination of good hoverboard control, maximising boost opportunities and avoiding the hazards posed by explosive crates and bumping into your competitors to succeed and claim the top prize in each of the bronze, silver and gold tournaments in each location.
7. What devices contain coordinates to other planets and locations?

Answer: Infobots

Of course, the handy Infobot is a sight for sore eyes as it usually means there's a new location to be discovered. Receiving an Infobot generally plays out a short cutscene as well, giving us a hint at what it might lead us to.
8. Which area are we exploring on planet Novalis?

Answer: Tobruk Crater

One of the few locations to make the transition from 2002 to 2016 and retain pretty much the exact same layout, the Tobruk Crater is the next location reached after leaving Veldin for the first time. The Plumber still gives out an Infobot when you reach him in the Waterworks, there's still a hidden goodie in the caves, and the mayor still needs rescuing at the other end of the level. Unlike its ancestor, however, this Novalis suffers an unfortunate fate thanks to the Deplanetizer.
9. Would you find the Telepathopus Fields on planet Gaspar?

Answer: Yes

After retrieving the Grindboots from the end of the depot path on Gaspar, you'll be able to access the other main area of the planet, the Telepathopus Fields. Akin to collecting Desert Crystals, Moonstones and Sewer Crystals in days of yore, you'll be tasked with extracting the brains of huge creatures known as Telepathopuses. Collecting the first 10 and bringing them to the nearby Blarg scientist will get you the Jetpack, a device which allows you to venture further out into the fields to obtain more brains for bolts and other goodies.
10. Take the first letter of each of the previous nine answers (for answers with more than one word, only use the first letter of the first word). This will spell out the answer to this question: Which location is the setting of the action on planet Quartu?

Answer: Skorg City

In the original "Ratchet & Clank", we explored the Robot Factory of planet Quartu (and also kicked some bottom as Giant Clank). While this is still sort of the case in the remake, our galactic coordinates indicate that we're at Skorg City on the polluted home planet of the Blarg.

A vastly different robot factory awaits in this location, but its status as being the place where Clank initially escapes from still holds true.
