Answer: Samuel Seabury

Seabury was motivated by a strong paternal concern for the public's welfare. Seabury's reputation made him a political kingmaker in NYC.

Fred Thompson has had a very interesting career starting from when he worked with the Nixon administration.

Answer: Donald Manes

Manes was known as the "King of Queens". His suicide was linked to the scandal. Manes was a big shot in the Koch administration. The man who was once so mighty got brought so low.

Answer: Gerald Ford

NYC had become greedy. Ford told the city that the government would not bail them out of the fiscal mess that they had gotten into again. The city was not happy with the president.

Answer: John Gotti

Those RICO cases are time consuming endeavors. Andrew Maloney of the Eastern District took over the case. However, if Giuliani had wanted to prosecute he would have taken jurisdiction away from Maloney. Giuliani had good connections in the Justice Department.
