From the old FAQ's at Royal Doulton's website:
'Can I buy the tableware pattern, Periwinkle, as featured in the television series of Keeping Up Appearances?
No - the name Periwinkle was invented for the Keeping Up Appearances television show. The actual china used was Colclough Braganza which was part of Royal Doulton, but which was discontinued in 1996.'

The Royal Doulton "PERIWINKLE" was actually called "BRAGANZA," a blue floral design with gray leaves. It was produced by the Colclough China subdivision of Royal Doulton. The pattern, #8454, was active from 1990 through 1996, when it was discontinued. The pattern, relatively inexpensive, is available though

and other china replacement services for those of you who simply cannot live without at least one example in your collection. Definitely an elegant addition to any candle light supper. People of quality and breeding will notice!
