I'm already working on a 1948 quiz to go with my 1908 one (albeit only offline at the moment). That one is particularly special to me as my grandfather was an athletics coach during those games. I was also planning to do 1968 and 1988 in the future as well. Reply #1. Aug 14 09, 1:26 PM |

You go for it then. It'll be months before I get around to that quiz. Reply #3. Aug 14 09, 3:52 PM |

I'd probably support this cause if I was into sports. Unfortunately, I'm not a big fan. Perhaps you could ask Nightmare if he would like to participate in making one of these quizzes. Reply #4. Aug 15 09, 11:52 AM |

I might have a look at one of the Norwegian winter games, but I'll let you know if and when it happens! Reply #6. Aug 16 09, 9:22 AM |

Looking through the quiz templates, I think someone's taken the Mexico City date...Might want to take that one off. Reply #7. Aug 16 09, 5:28 PM |

I might do Helsinki, but I'm slightly 'clogged up' with quizzes to write at the moment. We'll see... Reply #8. Aug 16 09, 5:41 PM |

OK, I'll do the 1900 Paris summer olympics. But I will have to finish an author challenge first and then start with this one sometime next week. Reply #10. Aug 20 09, 9:12 AM |

Ooh denni you'll have great fun, 1900 was when they had all the weirdo events that (strangely) were never part of the Games again! Reply #12. Aug 20 09, 10:37 AM |

No need to thank me ThurstAsh! It will be great fun to work on a Sports quiz, Sports being my Nemesis category (on FT and in real life - LOL). Ing, you're perfectly right! I was thinking about 1900 Paris or 1904 St. Louis - both great and 'different' editions of the games. But I finally decided on Paris for the reason you mentioned. Oh, and because it's European :D Have a quick look at the St. Louis Olympics - you might find yourself tempted ;) Reply #13. Aug 20 09, 10:56 AM |

I might just do that Denni, but I'm so disorganised with what I'm writing at the moment that I'm not sure I should take anything else on. Also, 'Sims3' hasn't quite become boring yet! ;-) Reply #17. Aug 23 09, 2:20 PM |

They say to keep your friends close and your enemies closer. ;) Nightmare's perfectly fine so long as you approach with caution. Reply #18. Aug 23 09, 2:49 PM |

Nightmare is a total sweetie! He's lovely - he has to be, *I* got a thumb on a quiz about NFL! It's not so very long that I didn't even know what NFL stood for.... Reply #19. Aug 23 09, 3:16 PM |
