Right from the outset, I have kept coming back to A GOGO for 2 Down. A for amateur, but two suits in abundance? I'm stumped on both. Yes 20 across is SENUSSI precisely as explained by halekotsi. ... and 2 down is A GOGO Sue as you suspected, explanation as follows: (i) A gogo is a term term deriving from a French expression meaning "in abundance, galore" (ii) An informal name for a Government Officer can be expressed as a suit, so Government Officer = GO in this instance. There are usually a number of difficult clues in this crossword, which makes it more satisfying when completing it. I reckon you have done really well to complete the grid so quickly! Reply #87.
