Joseph. Jericho's full name is Joseph William Wilson. He had a brother, Grant, and has a sister, Rose.
He was mute. When he was a boy, Jericho was taken hostage by some of his father's enemies. Slade was able to rescue him, but not before the kidnappers had started to slit young Jericho's throat, rendering him mute.

When his mother was being attacked. Jericho attempted to rescue his mother from an assassin when he discovered his power. He can take possession of other people's voluntary functions, but he cannot control the person's voice unless that person is unconscious.
They had just been betrayed by Terra. Terra could control all forms of earthen matter, and became a spy for Slade Wilson. She gave him information necessary to capture the Titans, but Jericho possessed Slade and freed them.
Azarath. Azarath is the home dimension of Raven, another and perhaps more famous Teen Titan. The souls were weak at first, but eventually came to control Jericho and his actions.
Slade Wilson. Jericho was being controlled by the corrupted souls of Azarath, and briefly fought to regain control of himself, begging his father to kill him, which Slade did.
Cyborg. Jericho sought a safe haven in the body of his teammate Cyborg. Cyborg saved Jericho's spirit on a computer disk that was kept in Titans Tower until it was removed by Raven.
Raven. Raven used tried-and-true rituals to bring Jericho back and give him a physical body and a pure mind. Once he was revived, Jericho rejoined the Titans and helped them fight the traitorous Bombshell.
