Krypton. Bibbo wanted to name the dog Krypton, after Superman's home planet (he was fascinated with Superman). The engraver making the dog's tag accidentally dropped the "n" off the end of the name (changing "Krypton" to "Krypto"). The name just stuck.
On the Kent Farm. Superman gave Krypto to Superboy, who was living on the Kent farm, because he thought he could use a friend.
Yellow. Superman's outfit also uses the same color scheme of a yellow belt with a red cape.
Doghouse of Solitude. The Doghouse of Solitude was constructed out of floating meteor fragments.
Val Armorr. Val Armorr's father was a notorious criminal. Val's mother tried to hide him from hs father, but she was killed and Val was found.
Toshiaki White Crane. Toshiaki White Crane was Japan's greatest hero, and killed Val's father. Raising Val as his own son and training him in martial arts, White Crane served as Val's mentor.

The Khunds. The Khunds are noted for their frequent use of violence, and resemble humans. However, they are much taller and have hot pink skin. Nemesis Kid was working for the Khunds and nearly framed Karate Kid for his treachery, but the plot was discovered.
Princess Projectra. To prove his worthiness, Val spent an entire year in the relatively primitive 20th century. Upon his return, Projectra became the ruler of her homeplanet, and both resigned from the Legion.
Nemesis Kid. Nemesis Kid led a group of villains who kidnapped a number of the Legionnaires, among them Karate Kid and his wife Princess Projectra. Upon escaping, Karate Kid was mortally wounded in one-on-one combat with Nemesis Kid. He used his last breaths to destroy the power sources of the strange machines that were moving Orando toward destruction.
