|What is the highest card in terms of power/toughness that comes in the Onslaught: Devastation preconstructed deck?||Magic The Gathering
Towering Baloth. Towering Baloth is 7/6. Krosan Groundshaker is 6/6, Tephraderm is 4/5, and Krosan Collosus is 9/9, but is not included in the Devastation PCD. Power is its damage that it can deal, and toughness is how much damage it can absorb, i.e. health points. Towering Baloth also has a new ability called Morph, which lets you play it face down as a 2/2 creature for three mana, and turn it over any time for its morph cost. These payments are generally lower than the card's actual casting cost, and it also hides from the opponent what the card really is. This can hinder their attack, since you can turn it over any time and block any of thier creatures. This makes it impossible for your opponent to know the full risk of attacking.

The one damage is dealt, and Phil's Icy taps a tapped creature, accomplishing nothing. Costs cannot be prevented, since costs are paid immediately apon announcement of a spell or ability. Therefore, by the time the Icy's ability resolves, the sorcerer has already tapped, and tapping it again won't do anything. Still, a tapped creature can be tapped, so the Icy will accomplish nothing, but still resolve normally.
