The Crying Game. One of the most suprising revelations I've ever seen, I must say. The Empire Strikes Back. Take away the bad guy's mysterious alias and he's got the same silly last name as the kid. To be fair this ending has been ruined by the filmmaker himself by making more films with the same characters.

Romeo and Juliet. The girl dies in "Love Story" and "Fatal Attraction," but not the guy. The girl leaves the guy in "Casablanca" on his own urging.
Kalifornia. Brad Pitt and Juliette Lewis played a couple named Early and Adele. Together they answered an ad for two people to help drive across the country and share expenses with another couple, Carrie and Brian, who were both journalists. True Romance. Christian Slater played Clarence Worley. He worked at a comic book store. Patricia Arquette played a call girl named Alabama. She met Clarence at a Kung Fu triple feature. After one night they fell in love and got married. After the wedding, Clarence went to Alabama's pimp Drexl's (played by Gary Oldman) house to get Alabama's clothes back. Instead he came back with a suitcase of Cocaine. They rush to get rid of it and they are involved in a big shoot out with Italians and cops. They barely survived and ran away on a jet to Mexico. Clarence and Alabama have a boy and name him Elvis. [1993]
Selena. Jennifer Lopez portrayed Latin singing sensation, Selena. The movie told the life and death story of Selena Quintanilla. Jacob Vargas played Selena's brother, Abie. Jon Seda played the lead guitar player and eventual husband of Selena. Selena was shot by her fan club president after they got together to discuss finances of the fan club. [1997]
Con Air. Nicolas Cage played Cameron Poe, a man paroled for murder who caught a ride back home on a plane full of dangerous fugitives. John Cusack played Larkin, a US Marshal who owned the plane. Garland Greene was played by Steven Buscemi. He was considered the most dangerous criminal of them all. [1997]
Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. Jim Carrey played Ace Ventura, a pet detective. Throughout the movie he was looking for the person that stole the Miami Dolphins' mascot, Snowflake. [1994]
Shallow Hal. In this movie, Hal, played by Jack Black, runs into self help extraordinaire Tony Robbins in an elevator. He helps Hal see women for who they really are inside, not for the outside. Hal then meets a 300 pound woman named Rosemary, played by Gwyneth Paltrow. Through the whole movie his friend Mauricio, played by Jason Alexander, tried to open Hal's eyes and show him what she really is in the outside. [2001]
The Fast and the Furious. In this movie, Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez played Dominic and Letty, illegal street racers. Paul Walker played an undercover cop searching for freeway high jackers. With Letty, Dominic and the rest of his boys high jacked at least $1.5 million dollars worth of VCRs and DVDs. [2001]
Armageddon. In "Armageddon", Bruce Willis played Harry Stamper. Harry Stamper had a daughter named Grace (Liv Tyler), and she was in love with A. J. Frost, played by Ben Affleck. Harry Stamper owned an oil drill company, which A. J. and Grace worked at. Harry and his crew were chosen to take on the biggest job of all time: saving the world from an asteroid that was going to destroy Earth. [1998]
