Joe DiMaggio
Yankees. Joe played his entire 13 season career with the Yankees, from 1936-1951.
3. Joe won his first MVP in 1939, when he led the league in batting .381. The 2nd award came in 1941, and the 3rd in 1947. His first MVP season, was the last season of fellow Yankee great, Lou Gehrig.

Vince and Dom. Vince and Dom both played in the Majors. Vince played for 10 seasons, mostly with the Pirates, and then Dom played for 11 seasons, all with the Red Sox. Vince was the oldest of the 3.
Guiseppi Paolo DiMaggio. Joe was born on November 25, 1914, in Martinez, California. His name was later changed to Joseph Paul DiMaggio Jr.

Charlie Gehringer. Joe was runner-up by only 4 points to the great Tiger slugger. Tiger Hank Greenberg was behind Joe in the voting, followed by two more Yankee greats of Lou Gehrig and Bill Dickey, to round out the top 5 voting.
1955. Joe was inducted only 4 years after his retirement of 1951. He was inducted with 89 percent of the vote. He led all 6 inductees in voting for the 1955 ballot.
