      Ryan Bittle. Ryan Bittle starred in the first 4 episodes as Mary's first boyfriend and Matt's best friend. He was never seen in the series again.

      Rachel. Rachel comes to visit the Camdens and makes a pass at Matt. When Annie finds out about it she confronts Rachel who denies the whole thing and says Matt made a pass at her. In the end the mix up is resolved. Mary also makes her singing debut in this episode.
