 Amazing Race 12
Donald. The roadblock involved driving a taxi in the crowded streets of Japan. TK and Rachel finished last but were saved by the final non-elimination leg.
India. Kynt and Vyxsin managed to pass Nate and Jen despite their speed bump. However, Kynt and Vyxsin made a fatal mistake by U-turning Nicolas and Donald who had already passed the U-turn. The mistake sealed their fate and they were eliminated.
get a permanent tattoo. Nicolas and Donald won the fast forward and came in first. While Kynt and Vyxsin came in last they were saved by the first non-elimination leg, but were introduced to a new Race penalty, the Speed Bump, a task that only Kynt and Vyxsin would have to perform.
Ronald and Christina. Nate and Jen were in first until a taxi wouldn't take them to the pit stop because they were wet. Nate and Jen were denied once again. Azaria and Hendekea made a critical mistake at the airport by accidentally booking business class seats instead of economy seats. It ended up getting them eliminated.
Shana and Jennifer. The blondes were frozen with fear when the bus almost nailed them, but they managed to get out of the way at the last second. However, their constant bickering made them the fifth team eliminated from the race.
Shana and Jennifer. Shana and Jennifer thought that Lorena and Jason were the only team behind them when TK and Rachel were just seconds behind them. They barely beat Lorena and Jason to the pit stop, while Lorena and Jason were eliminated.
Lorena and Jason. One team member had to pole vault over a pool of mud during the roadblock. Then their partner had to push them in a wheelbarrow to the pit stop. Despite Ronald's constant nagging, Kate and Pat fell too far behind to beat him and Christina.
Azaria and Hendekea. Their donkey ran so fast that they couldn't catch up to it. Nate and Jen had trouble when their donkey all of the sudden stopped, thus bumping them from second to tenth. However, Ari and Staella had even more donkey troubles and were eliminated.
Los Angeles. The eleven new teams started from the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles, California. They were transported to the starting line in classic cars.
TK and Rachel. TK and Rachel won, Ron and Christina came in second and Nick and Don came third. Don was the oldest person to make it to the final leg.

Rachel. Ron and Christina arrived there first, then TK and Rachel, then Nick and Don. The team member had a variety of items and they had to remember which item belonged to which country. Then, there was a catch where some of the items had to be specific, like animals, transportation, and such.
Nick and Don. Nick and Don were in a hurry and forgot to get the needed gear at the store. They were in the taxi that then arrived at the pier, but while they were running to the clue they saw TK and Rachel had a bag with them. They then read the clue that said they needed gear and rushed back to the store.
Japan. In this road block, one member of the team had to wear a taxi driver's uniform and drive a couple to a destination. The hard part was that the directions were in Japanese, and most of the streets were congested and one way. Nate and Jen got eliminated here.
Nick and Don. Nick and Don had to go to a tattoo studio in Italy to get a tattoo with the letters, "FF". "FF" stands for Fast Forward. During this leg, Kynt and Vyxsin had placed in last, but it was a non-elimination leg.
Lithuania. In this detour, both teammates had to walk on stilts on a marked path until the end line. If they fell, they had to start all over again. Both teammates must finish in order to get the clue. They could've also counted fence posts for the detour instead. Shana and Jennifer got eliminated here.
Burkina Faso. Teams here had to milk a camel for its milk up to a marked line in a bowl. Then, they had to show it to a specific person, and if approved they had to drink all the milk. Marianna and Julia got eliminated here.

Pole vault. If the team member didn't make it over, he or she had to keep trying until they made it. A judge would determine if that person had made it. Kate and Pat got eliminated this leg.

Donkey. During this leg, teams had to fill a donkey with fifteen pieces of peat and bring it to a finish line. A lot of teams had trouble cooperating with their donkey to move, and that cost some teams a lot of time. Ari and Staella got eliminated this leg.
TK and Rachel. TK and Rachel kept a calm and fun-loving attitude throughout the race, even when they were in tough situations. They were the first team to arrive at the finish line. Ron and Christina got second place, and Nick and Don got third.
Anchorage, Alaska. Anchorage, Alaska was visited in the first race and the ninth race, and was the last place to be in "Amazing Race 12".

Nathan and Jennifer. Ron and Christina kept their lead over the other teams and got to the pit stop first, advancing to the final leg. Lorena and Jason did not make the final three teams but were eliminated in eighth place. Nick and Don narrowly beat Nathan and Jennifer to become the final team to make it to the last leg.

Ron and Christina. Ron and Christina told the ticket person not to give any other teams tickets on their flight, which made Jennifer very upset, who then blamed Nathan for being mean to her on her birthday.

Kynt and Vyxsin. Kynt and Vyxsin U-Turned Nick and Don, who were already farther than that point. The only team behind Kynt and Vyxsin was Nathan and Jennifer who trailed by about two or so minutes. Later on, Vyxsin said, "We should've U-Turned Nate and Jen; we probably U-Turned a team that's already in front of us." Kynt and Vyxsin were eliminated later that leg in fifth place for making this and other important mistakes.
If a team is in front of the team that U-Turns them, they do not have to perform the U-Turn.
Shana and Jennifer. Shana and Jennifer were traveling down a road. Jennifer was looking at a map when a bus came, then struggled to hit the gas pedal a couple seconds before the bus would've hit Shana. Afterwards, Jennifer told Shana to relax, and Shana replied "Relax? I just almost got killed by a bus!"

Azaria and Hendekea. Brother and sister Azaria and Hendekea got first place on multiple legs of the race. On one leg in Burkina Faso, Hendekea made Azaria stop because she had to go to the bathroom.
Nathan and Jennifer. Shana and Jennifer and Kate and Pat had been eliminated by this time in the race. Azaria and Hendekea were eliminated on this leg of the race, but Nathan and Jennifer were racing to be in first place at the end of the leg. Because the taxi denied them, they asked a random person to drive them to the pit stop, only to be rejected by Phil. They had to be driven back and had to find an actual taxi to bring them to the pit stop. Ron and Christina and Kynt and Vyxsin arrived before Nathan and Jennifer got to the pit stop for a second time.
Panama. Panama was not visited during this race. In fact, all of Central America was not visited.

Don. Don, a 69 year old and the oldest in the race, commented on the sisters' beauty. He said this when the two sisters were dancing around a bonfire at a pit stop.
Lorena and Jason. Shana and Jennifer were the team who used the U-Turn because they mistook TK and Rachel (shortly behind) for Lorena and Jason. Lorena and Jason would come a little bit later, only to be U-Turned, then because of it, eliminated. A U-Turn is where a team who is U-Turned by another team must go back to the detour and perform the other task they did not previously perform.
Kynt and Vyxsin. Kynt and Vyxsin, a goth couple, only wore the colors black and pink along the race. Kynt had black hair and Vyxsin had pink hair. Their wardrobe made them the "Pinkies".

Ari and Staella. Nathan and Jennifer had trouble with their donkey, but eventually the donkey moved down the pathway they needed it to move down. Every team passed Ari and Staella on the way down the path, and Ari and Staella couldn't make up the lost time. Ari and Staella were the first team eliminated.
