 Amazing Race 7
Megan and Heidi. Again, the final two teams battled in a footrace to the pit stop, but in the end, Brian and Greg arrived in ninth place and Megan and Heidi were eliminated.
Rob and Amber. After finding an effective method to completing their Detour task, Rob and Amber arrived at Cerra Santa Lucia and were the first to arrive at the second pit stop. They won a trip to Atlantis from Paradise Island in the Bahamas.
Debbie and Bianca. In "Schleps", teams had to trolley one hundred and eighty books to the Library of Congress from a bookstore about eight blocks away. Ron and Kelly, Rob and Amber, Ray and Deana, Debbie and Bianca, and Brian and Greg all competed in this task.
Susan and Patrick. Susan and Patrick finished the leg in eighth place because they chose a slower task and because they had to beg for money. Other teams to shop were Uchenna and Joyce, Meredith and Gretchen, Lynn and Alex, and Megan and Heidi.

Joyce. After finishing a shoe-shining task, teams got plane tickets on one of two flights to Santiago that stopped over in Lima and Buenos Aires.
Ryan and Chuck. Ron and Kelly narrowly defeated Ryan and Chuck, and although the final position came down to mere seconds, Ryan and Chuck were the first team eliminated.
Debbie and Bianca. Debbie and Bianca received ten thousand dollars each for arriving at the first pit stop in first place. They departed at approximately 10:30 pm the following night.
Meredith and Gretchen. Surprisingly, Meredith and Gretchen fared better than most of the other teams doing this task and they arrived at the pit stop in sixth place. The other task during this Detour was called "Rope a Basket" and teams participating in that task had to carry heavy baskets of alfalfa on their backs for two thirds of a mile to receive their clue.

6:40 AM. The 7:00 AM plane was delayed forty-five minutes, so all of the teams on that flight took the 7:40 flight with almost all of the rest of the teams. Susan and Patrick, Debbie and Bianca, and Rob and Amber were on the 6:00 flight.
Long Beach. Teams departed from a historic harbour in Long Beach, California and flew to Lima, Peru where they were told to find their first clue outside the Plaza de Armas.
Debbie and Bianca. Debbie and Bianca were the first team to arrive at the detour. They had not decided on the task to perform when the second team arrived. They first attempted "Rope a Llama" and when they found it was difficult to get the animals to cooperate, they changed to "Rope a Basket". The other teams mentioned chose "Rope a Basket" for this detour.

35 pounds - 2/3 mile. The baskets were full of alfalfa and had to be delivered to Tienda Victoria Valdivia, a store in the market. (I paused the video to get the spelling from the sign at the store.) The teams that chose "Rope a Llama" had to take two llamas to a pen to receive their next clue. It was not said how far they had to guide the llamas.
Debbie and Bianca. Susan and Patrick were the second team to find a ticket. Rob and Amber were the third team to find a ticket and the last team on the 6:00 flight. Uchenna and Joyce were the last team to find a ticket and it was for the 7:00 flight.
Megan and Heidi. They decided to change drivers after Heidi almost wrecked the car. It seemed that Heidi was not a good driver in traffic and was not focused on the driving. They had to exit the freeway to make the driver change.
Peru. There were two flights that were available for the teams to take from the Los Angeles International airport, American Airlines flight 252 and United Airlines flight 840. The American Airline flight went via Miami; it was the later flight but arrived earlier than the United Airlines flight. The United Airlines flight went via New York City.
Survivor. Rob and Amber were both on "Survivor". They met on "Survivor: All Stars". Amber was the winner of that season. Rob proposed to Amber at the reunion episode.
Long Beach, CA. Phil Keoghan was onboard the Queen Mary in the opening scene of this episode.
Yes. The team was Meredith and Gretchen. Meredith was a retired executive and Gretchen was a retired flight attendant and Registered Nurse.
Megan and Heidi. Heidi was the full time mother. She grew up in Flint, Michigan but moved to California. Megan was a fashion designer and had lived in California all of her life.
Ryan and Chuck. Ryan was a general contractor and was from Landrum, South Carolina. Chuck was a boiler tube replacement salesman and was from Inman, South Carolina. The other teams listed were from California.
Ray and Deana. Ray and Deana were a dating couple from Ohio. Ray was 44 and Deana was 27. They were both from Ohio. Meredith and Gretchen, Rob and Amber and Uchenna and Joyce each had four years or less as the age difference.
Debbie and Bianca. Bianca was the high school teacher; she graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and Spanish Art History. Her teammate, Debbie, graduated summa cum laude form The College of William and Mary in less than three years. She worked as a freelance photographer in Los Angeles, California.
Ron and Kelly. Ron was a Prisoner of War during the Iraq war when his Apache helicopter was shot down. When Ron returned home and was introduced to the reigning Miss South Carolina, who was Kelly. They have been a couple ever since that meeting.
Lynn and Alex. Lynn and Alex are the gay couple and they are from southern California. Brian and Greg are brothers. Debbie and Bianca are lifelong friends and Megan and Heidi are roommates.
Susan and Patrick. After trailing during the entire leg, Susan and Patrick had bad luck on the detour and they arrived at the pit stop in last place.
At a polo ranch. After performing their detour tasks, teams took a taxi to La Martina Polo Ranch. It is at this location where Rob and Amber claimed another first place victory.
Tigre. Teams took a train ride from Buenos Aires to Tigre and found their clue by some docks on the river. Their choice in the detour was a choice between "Shipwreck" and "Island".

Ray and Deana. Ray and Deana, Meredith and Gretchen, and Susan and Patrick were all stuck on the second flight which arrived in Buenos Aires much later than the previous flight. When the second flight landed, most teams on the first flight were already at the pit stop.

Brian. In the fourth leg's road block, one team member had to perform a horse-riding task which involved completing a course traditionally used by Argentinian gauchos in forty seconds.
Lynn and Alex. Lynn and Alex beat Uchenna and Joyce by a short time on the drive to the pit stop to claim their first place victory.
Susan and Patrick. Rob and Amber persuaded two teams to join them in taking a four-hour penalty that ended up paying off in the very end of the leg. The teams landed on the pit stop in fifth, sixth, and seventh place. The road block in this leg required one team member to eat four pounds of barbecued beef.
