Which Christmas pantomime were the cast members asked to perform for the very first "Big Brother" panto in 2005?The "Big Brother" (UK) Panto 2005

Cinderella. The panto cast members had to audition for their parts in "Cinderella", with much bickering at the beginning as to who got to audition for the title role. The part eventually came down to Jade and Anouska, with the former winning the role after a viewers' vote. The panto director was Chris Denys, Principal of the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.

The cast members for the "Big Brother" panto entered the lodge on the 20th December 2004 via a fake chimney, giving the illusion they were arriving in the great hall on a sledge. Former "Big Brother 3" housemate Jade was the first to arrive in a cloud of fake snow, but who followed her in?The "Big Brother" (UK) Panto 2005

Marco. Marco from "Big Brother 5" was second into the lodge, followed by Tim, Narinder, Melanie, Spencer, Anouska, Kitten, Nick and Victor. It was quite interesting to see people from the first five series of "Big Brother" all together under one roof. Would they actually get on with one another?

Three members of the "Big Brother" panto cast auditioned for the parts of the two ugly sisters. Which three? The "Big Brother" (UK) Panto 2005

Marco, Spencer and Tim. Marco, Spencer and Tim all fancied themselves as the ugly sisters. In the end director Chris Denys chose Spencer to play Jordanne and Tim won the part of Jodey. Marco was awarded the part of the fairy godmother.

To get to the diary room, what did the "Big Brother" panto cast members have to walk through? The "Big Brother" (UK) Panto 2005

A wardrobe door. The entrance to the famous diary room was disguised to look like the door of a wardrobe. The whole of the "Big Brother" lodge was designed with Christmas and winter in mind, with fake snow, a false log fire, Christmas trees and even a polar bear. The lodge had a small garden, complete with a hot tub. During normal "Big Brother" shows, the sound of an areoplane flying overhead is played if the housemates say anything that is not suitable for broadcasting. For this series, the sound of a cold wind blowing was played!

The "Big Brother" panto cast members needed a bit of training in certain areas from various professionals, who popped into the lodge for a few sessions. Who was Dave Lynn? The "Big Brother" (UK) Panto 2005

A professional drag queen. Victor got into a bit of a sulk when drag queen Dave Lynn suggested he have a go at dressing up as a woman. The thought of wearing tights and a dress just did not seem to appeal to macho man Vic! As well as Dave, the cast members received training and help from dance coach Louie Spence, and singing coaches Nick Foster and Mike Rose.

The cast members of the "Big Brother" panto were all offered camcorders to record what they did on their Christmas break away from the lodge. What was Spencer filmed doing on Christmas Day?The "Big Brother" (UK) Panto 2005

Playing golf. All ten cast members were offered camcorders to record events on their Christmas break away from panto rehearsals, but not everyone bothered. Six members refused them, two camcorders were taken and not returned, leaving only Spencer and Jade who actually bothered to do something with them. Spencer was filmed happily playing golf on Christmas Day, because, he said, "it was quiet and free"! Jade filmed her two small boys and their father, Jeff Brazier, opening their presents on Christmas morning. The pantomime cast members also had a break away for the New Year celebrations.

Who played the part of Prince Charming in the 2005 "Big Brother" pantomime? The "Big Brother" (UK) Panto 2005

Mel. Mel, who was the seventh person to be evicted in the first ever "Big Brother" in 2000, was awarded the part of Prince Charming. Her fellow housemate from the first series, "Nasty" Nick Bateman, played the part of Baron Hardup. Anouska, who lost the part of Cinderella to Jade, had to be content to play the bit parts, whilst Kitten played Dandini, Prince Charming's loyal servant. Kitten, who caused some uproar in the fifth season of "Big Brother" managed to fall out with a few people while rehearsing for the pantomime, including dance coach Louie Spence.

The "Big Brother" pantomime was broadcast live on television station E4 on Wednesday 5th January 2005. Who was the first character to appear on the stage? The "Big Brother" (UK) Panto 2005

The pantomime fairy. The pantomime was introduced by presenter Jeff Brazier, and performed live to an audience which featured friends and relatives of the cast, as well as former "Big Brother" contestants such as Jon Tickle and Lisa Jeynes. The voiceovers were provided by the usual "Big Brother" narrator Marcus Bentley. First on stage was Marco in his role as the pantomime fairy, camping it up in his usual style! For those who were unable to see the live show, the pantomime was repeated on Channel 4 on Thursday 6th January.

The final scene of the "Big Brother" pantomime showed Cinderella and Prince Charming miming and dancing to which popular song? The "Big Brother" (UK) Panto 2005

"(I've Had) The Time of my Life" by Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes. Both Jade and Mel, despite having not previously acted, put in a quite credible performance during "Cinderella". Indeed, the pantomime seemed to go off really well considering. It certainly helped if the viewer had seen the first five seasons of "Big Brother" as there were quite a few references and in-jokes relating to various housemates, including "Cinderella" being set in "East Angular", which was how Jade Goody pronounced East Anglia, much to her fellow housemates amusement, in "Big Brother 3". "Cinderella" was written by Jonathan Harvey, best known for writing the scripts for shows such as "Gimme Gimme Gimme" and "Beautiful Thing". The "Big Brother" panto was quite a different experience from the usual "Big Brother" shows, as there were less restrictions on the housemates, and, of course, there were no evictions! They were also allowed to leave the lodge over Christmas, and various people popped in and out each day. P.S. I confirmed the spelling of cast and character names in the pantomime at the Channel 4 website at www.channel4.com.

Glyn, the North-Wales-wonder who has problems speaking in any language and a wit as sharp as a marble, has also been making waves in the House. After forsaking his A-levels to go into the House, this mere teenager has been swapping tongues with everyone he can get his hands on. One of the more famous moments was his out-of-key singing in the shower. What song was he butchering while washing?Big Brother's Vegetables

"I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor" by Arctic Monkeys. This wasn't the only song that Glyn has butchered in the House. No sir, there have been many others. Many, many others. This, however, was the most famous as it was the most televised. He's so bad, in fact, that Nikki has even requested an album of his wonderful voice. High praise indeed.

Dawn, who was one of the few tolerable housemates, was only actually in the House for a few days. After spreading her smell about the place and refusing to shower, she was promptly thrown out of the House for breaking the rules. What did she actually do?Big Brother's Vegetables

Contacted the outside world.. Dawn was a sneaky one. Or not, as the case may be. She did get caught after all. Dawn had formulated a code, and had told her family to message her, telling her that her sister was ill, if there was any negative stories in the press about Dawn. There wasn't time for any negative press to form, however, as Dawn was out of the House by Day 8.

Richard and Grace notoriously disliked each other. Richard being the leader of one clique and Grace the leader of the other, Grace was evicted fourth, but not before violating the new housemate Susie in a highly humiliating way. What did Grace do to Suzie?Big Brother's Vegetables

Threw water over her.. A controversial parting shot by Grace, but the vindictive acts didn't stop there. As Aisleyne came to a shocked Susie's defence, she was told to shut up by both Grace and Mikey, and was even called a moose by the evictee. Some people have no decorum.

You may have noticed how loud Lisa was. You didn't even have to watch the show to know how loud she was, you could hear her a mile away. The self-proclaimed "loud Chinese girl" was evicted in Week 5 after being drawn up against three of the other housemates who proved more popular than her. Lisa was also a chain smoker, but to what did she attribute her sudden lack of cigarettes in the beginning of week four?Big Brother's Vegetables

All of these. She had a lot of things to blame her chain smoking on. (Shahbaz being in the house during the first week. He stressed her., George leaving in the second week and choosing not to leave his cigarettes behind., The fact that the more she tried to go without, the more she feels she needed one.). In Week Five, four housemates were punished for talking about the evictions, and as such, each of the four had to pick one of their fellow rule-breakers to be evicted. Nikki bore the brunt of this process, and during the regular weekly evictions, Lisa, Mikey, and Imogen were all put up for eviction. Lisa's lack of nicotine could have easily contributed to her eviction, as in Grace's words, she was "like... Godzilla!"

Can we talk about Sam for a minute? Shortly after Sam and Aisleyne entered the House, Sam was deemed to be one of the most irritating people that the housemates had ever met. Sam followed them into the bathroom. Sam would pop up in their face just as they were trying to get to sleep. Sam even managed to ruin countless moments of romance in the "Big Brother" bedroom. But what was Sam's big secret?Big Brother's Vegetables

She was actually a he - he was transgendered.. Sam deemed his childhood in Indonesia to be the happiest time of his life. Unfortunately, his time in the house was nowhere near as idylic. Shortly after entering, he became a figure of hate for the public and the people in the House, and was soon evicted (Week 3). Oh well.

You can't forget Shahbaz, however much you want to. As the first person to leave the "Big Brother" House, the only impression he made was one of cloying neediness. On Day 4, however, Shahbaz's antics were the straw that broke the camel's back. What did he do to take his approval rating in the house to an all-time low?Big Brother's Vegetables

He hid all of the food in a box in the garden. Subsequently, everything got wet. (He set fire to the Diary Room chair and danced around it. So there was no where to sit in there., He drew a cat's face on Nikki, a lá Peter Criss of Kiss., He chewed his toenails in the kitchen and then sprinkled them in the box of cornflakes.). And so on Day 6, we waved goodbye to the shrieking Glaswegian Kylie Minogue fan. In the end, it all came down to a blazing row between him and Lisa about the wasting of milk, and after a long talk with Big Brother, he opted to leave. Well, it took him long enough. This whole fiasco followed Shahbaz's food hiding antics, which happened on Day 4. When the housemates awoke on Day 5 to find their food wet in the yard, Lea was quick to jump to his defence, but soon wished she had kept her mouth shut when Shahbaz admitted to his act.

Imogen, you may have noticed, also came with a strong Welsh accent in tow. As a fluent speaker of Welsh, Imogen found that she and Glyn could have some very interesting conversations. Well, slightly less boring conversations, anyway. But why were Imogen and Glyn reprimanded for speaking Welsh in the House?Big Brother's Vegetables

They were talking about nominations, among other things.. Glyn and Imogen had managed to find a way to talk about evictions and the others that they thought no one would ever decipher. Unfortunately for them, Big Brother were swift to hire a Welsh translator, and Glyn and Imogen were forced to nominate one of their friends to be evicted in Week 5. This, of course, was the first time Imogen had been allowed to vote in the house. She can't keep her mouth shut.

Lea, the resident plastic-fantastic, is actually the only housemate that didn't make me want to vomit. She may have had enough plastic surgery to make Joan Rivers blush, but she's meek and doesn't really like anyone. A woman after my own heart. And of course, she's friendly with Richard, the Big Brother foreigner for this year. So moving from the vegetables to the fruit, which fruit did Richard and Lea have a play-fight with, resulting in a screaming fit from the rather shrill Nikki?Big Brother's Vegetables

Bananas. And so Nikki makes another appearance, hamming it up for the cameras. After she had finished her rant, Richard laughed in her face and wandered off with Lea, leaving an infuriated Nikki cradling her battered banana. While moaning to a glazed-over Imogen, Richard appeared and offered to eat the bruised fruit. Needless to say, Nikki wasn't happy. And so there we have the vegetables, and indeed, the fruit of the first five weeks of "Big Brother" series seven.

Which housemate shaved their eyebrows off in order to become a housemate?10th Anniversary of 'Big Brother'

Noirin. Noirin was the housemate who volunteered to shave her eyebrows off in order to become a housemate during the first week. She also had to draw on her face a pair of glasses and a mustache using a black pen, and continued to do so for several weeks.

What name did Sophie have to change her name to, in order to become a housemate?10th Anniversary of 'Big Brother'

Dogface. Sophie changed her name to Dogface using Deed Poll, in order for her to become a housemate. Housemate Freddie also changed his name to Halfwit, and also became a housemate by doing this.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of 'Big Brother', ex housemates from past series of "Big Brother"joined the current housemates to complete in various tasks, who joined Marcus in the 'electric shock' task?10th Anniversary of 'Big Brother'

Rex. Marcus and ex housemate Rex, were required to complete an electric shock course in order for them to pass a shopping task. Rex also completed the same course, during 'Big Brother 9'.
