Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly. Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly really make the show special, with Bruce's jokes and Tess' beautiful dresses she wears on 'Strictly Come Dancing' (otherwise known as Strictly). Whilst Tess was on maternity leave, Series 1 winner Natasha Kaplinsky presented the show in her place.
Craig Revel Horwood. Craig Revel Horwood is known as the one mean judge on the show. He is harsh, and looks mainly for quality of the contestant's dance, rather than other things such as enthusisam, effort and performance. Craig choreographs West End shows along with Arlene and Bruno, whilst Len is an ex-professional dancer.
Darren and Lilia and James and Ola. Darren Bennett and Lilia Kopylova are champions in 'Strictly' and out of it. They have won a world title and many other competitions. Between them, they have five 'Strictly' trophies, as they have both won a series and a Christmas special (Lilia has won two Christmas specials). James and Ola have won titles in Europe, but unfortunatly, no 'Strictly' titles.
Ian Waite. Ian slipped over on the dance floor during his showdance with celebrity Zoe Ball. Unfortunately, they had just been voted out, taking the third place title of Series 3.
Jill Halfpenny. Jill Halfpenny paired Darren Bennett in Series 2, and took the series title on the famous studio dance floor. Jill was awarded the first ever perfect score of 40/40 in the final for her Jive to the song 'I'm Still Standing' by Elton John.
Glitter ball. 'Strictly' is famous for its Glitter ball trophy, with the show's emblem of the front. You also get a plaque, with your name on so you will always remember your triumph!
Viennese Waltz. It is tradition on the show for the finalists to do a group Viennese Waltz. They move smoothly around in a circle, following each other, before one couple enters the centre of the circle and does a special move or a lift.
American Smooth. The American Smooth was introduced in Series 4. This dance allows lifts, as the question states, and it also allows to come in and out of hold whenever you want. No other ballroom dances are allowed lifts or to come out of hold, so it is entertaining to watch these dances. The lifts are always crowd pleasers! The most commonly used ones are called 'The Fish' and 'The Crucifix'.
'Keep dancing!'. Bruce and Tess never fail to say this cathphrase. It sometimes makes you sad though as you think the show is over for another week, or even a year! 'Strictly' isn't complete without this last sentence.
Tawni. Tawni Hart is mean to Sonny, and thinks she is pretty and always right. She plays mostly characters in sketches that really don't reflect her personality, so people like her for who she plays, not for who she really is.
Wisconsin. Sonny is annoying to Tawni and misses Wisconsin. She has a best friend from Wisconsin named Lucy, who in one episode comes and visits Sonny in the studio. She says she "hates" Chad Dylan Cooper (ahem, notice how I used bunny ears on "hates"). But she probably secretly likes him!
No. Nico and GRADY are best friends. Nico and Grady both like food and money. Nico and Grady do NOT have a crush on Tawni nor Sonny. But they do like them as friends. JUST friends!
Selena Gomez. Selena plays Sonny the first time they make the movie, but later, Chad allows Sonny to play Sonny, which it should of been like that in the first place!
Ms. Bitterman. Ms. Bitterman really lives up to her name. She's bitter and well...she's as tough and mean as a man! In one episode, Ms. Bitterman and Marshall fall in love. Everyone hates Ms. Bitterman because she is really mean and gives kids work that they don't need to do.
So Random!. "So Random!" is well... So random! They do sketches and each one is funny. So Random is sort of like Nickelodeon's show, "The Amanda Show" that aired a few years back because of the sketches they do. Chad Dylan Cooper and his posse star in the rival show, "Mackenzie Falls", a drama. "So Random!" and "Mackenzie Falls" are fake shows, of course.
Portlyn. Chad's co-star is Portlyn, she is shy and is Chad's boyfriend on "Mackenzie Falls". Chad has other co-stars, but Polly, Pelly, and Pourtabella are made up characters. Sonny and Tawni and the whole So Random crew hate Chad Dylan Cooper...but maybe Sonny doesn't!
No. Marshall likes to chat with the cast of So Random, he's kind of like Mr. Madtigan on "True Jackson VP" on Nickelodeon. Marshall is bald and he wears dark round sunglasses. He was in Demi's video "La La Land", they all were! Marshall is not their teacher, but the show's executive producer.
La La Land. You see Tawni, Chad, Marshall, Nico, Grady, Marshall, Zora, and even Demi's sister Dallas. They are at a red carpet interview. You see all the cast waving and talking to everyone. Chad carries Tawni's shopping bags.
In the second episode, Zora creates something that she uses to hit cheese and meat at Sonny. What was this contraption called? | "Sonny With a Chance" Trivia
|
Coldcut Catapult. Zora first slaps ham in Sonny's face, then cheese. Zora built this herself, as she is quite quirky and odd. And yes, Zora is a bit odd.
