Changeling. Odo is a Changeling, or shapeshifter, which means he can take any form. However, Odo denies being a Founder.
Bajoran Institute for Science. Odo was found in his gelatinous state and, as he could not be identified and because nobody knew he was a sentient being, he was sent to Bajor. There Dr. Mora Pol did reasearch on him.
Because he had killed another of his kind.. Odo was the first Changeling ever to harm another. In "Broken Link", Odo travels to his homeworld to be judged in the Great Link, who decide to punish him by transforming him into a "Solid".
It turns out she was married.. At the end of the episode, we discover that Arissa had had her memory erased. Although she loved Odo, she cannot stay with him because when she gets her memories back she realizes she is already married.
Every 16 hours. Although Odo prefers keeping solid form most of the time, he has to return to gelatinous state inorder to regenerate for about an hour every 16 hours.
In "Little Green Men", what form does Odo take to spy on Quark, Rom and Nog when they are captured on Earth? | "Deep Space 9" Quiz: Odo

a German Shepherd dog. In "Little Green Men", the three Ferengi end up at a military base, in the past, hence, the German Shepherd. When the Ferengi are locked up in the room where they could be observed by the humans, two or three men come in with the dog, and when they leave the dog stays behind in the room and reveals himself to be Odo.
Pabst. Odo's character is the racist editor, who is more or less the bad guy (of course, there are Dukat and Weyoun's characters to fill in that role as well). Herbert is Quark, Kay is Kira, and Albert is O'Brien.
the piano. In this episode, Odo turns to hologram Vic Fontaine for advice to win Kira's heart. But Vic tells him that he's too cold and progressively manages to loosen him up, and finally organizes his first date with Kira.
umpire. This episode is one of my personal favorites, it's hilarious. Sisko builds a team out of the senior officers as well as the three Ferengi and Leeta, and he asks Odo to be the umpire, because he is "impartial to the game". This turns out to be quite true: Odo throws Sisko out of the game.
