    Bioshock

    Although you aren't given too much info on your character when you first start the game you do get his name. What is it?Bioshocked!

      Jack. You see his name for a brief moment on a card attached to a present which has apparently been given to him by his parents. Jack reflects on his parents and the great things he is bound to accomplish right before his flight takes a nose dive in to the Atlantic ocean.

    What comes next in this quote from the game? "Is a man not entitled to the..."Bioshocked!

      sweat of his brow. This is part of Rapture's creator, Andrew Ryan's, pitch on what his city below the surface of the ocean can offer potential residents over the land dwellers above. Ryan offers a society in which no one is held back by the regulations of the American government, religion or communism.

    Upon first entering the city you are contacted by a man named Atlas over a service radio. What does he want from you?Bioshocked!

      Help him save his family. It seems that Atlas has been trying to find a way to get his wife and son out of the war ravaged city of Rapture and he needs you help to do it. They are held up in a submersible in Fontaine's Fisheries which can be reached by going through Neptune's Bounty.

    How many different kinds of splicers will you meet over the course of the game?Bioshocked!

      Five. There are five different kinds of splicers which get stronger as you get further in to the game. Thuggish splicers wield pipes and wrenches and will try to strike you with them, Leadhead splicers shoot at you with either pistols or machine guns, Nitro splicers toss grenades and motolov cocktails, Spider splicers have hook like hands and can crawl along the ceiling and toss daggers at you and Houdini splicers can teleport around the room while shooting off fire or ice plasmid blasts.

    How do you get the Hypnotize Big Daddy plasmid?Bioshocked!

      Rescue the Little Sisters. The Hypnotize Big Daddy plasmid will only be available if you choose to rescue a set amount of Little Sisters rather then harvest them. Once every few Little Sister's you rescue, they will leave you a gift which will contain 200 adam and possibly a new plasmid such as Hypnotize Big Daddy.

    Who refers to you as "little moth"?Bioshocked!

      Sander Cohen. When you past through Fort Frolic on your way to Andrew Ryan's office you find yourself trapped in a little errand mission for the very disturbed and artistically inclined Sander Cohen. He wants you to search out three men who have betrayed him in the past, kill them, snap a photo of their corpse, then display it in his latest masterpiece.

    "...go get stepped on by a Big Daddy?" How does this quote begin?Bioshocked!

      Would you kindly. If you have progressed far enough in the game then those first three words should be pretty familiar to you by now. Frank Fontaine doesn't seem too worried when you don't budge though, not with Code Yellow in his back pocket which, when said, reduces your maximum health.

    How many audio diaries are hidden in Rapture?Bioshocked!

      122. If you want the Historian achievement in the Xbox 360 version of the game then your going to have to find all 122 diaries which scattered throughout the game. Some diaries will only be available to you the first time you pass through an area such as the first level and Andrew Ryan's office so make sure have all the diaries in those two places as you will not be able to go back for them. The other levels will allow you to return and search for missed diaries.

    Where do you begin the game?BioShock

      In the ocean. When the game begins in seems that you have survived a plane crash and are swimming in the ocean. At this point your only objective is to get to the underwater city.

    What is the name of the person guiding you through the first few levels?BioShock

      Atlas. Some guy named Atlas contacts you through the radio. He wants you to help him find his wife and daughter. Although he later turns out to be Fontaine in the beginning you only know him as Atlas.

    What is the name of the underwater city?BioShock

      Rapture. Rapture is the name of the city built to be unhindered by feelings of morality to pioneer science. The city was supposed to be a utopia, but something went wrong.

    What are the names of the girls that extract ADAM from deceased corpses?BioShock

      Little Sisters. Little Sisters patrol around each level guarded by a Big Daddy. After dealing with the Big Daddy, you have the option to harvest or rescue a Little Sisters. Harvesting them will gain you more ADAM, but rescuing them has more long-term rewards.

    What is the expression that Fontaine uses for mind control?BioShock

      "Would you kindly...". After killing Andrew Ryan, you find out that Fontaine, under the alias of Atlas, has been controlling your actions by the phrase "would you kindly...". You are finally able to get rid of Fontaine's mind control by collecting elixirs.

    What is the name of the station in which you can upgrade your weapons?BioShock

      Power to the People. At a 'Power to the People' you can upgrade your weapons. Once you use the station it powers down and you have to find another one. You are able to upgrade every weapon in the game except for the wrench.

    How do you kill Fontaine?BioShock

      Drain him of his ADAM. You have to drain Fontaine four times in order to kill him. Each time you drain him he'll attack, after you destroy his health you'll have to run to his chamber and drain him again. Although plasmids and weapons hurt him when he's out of his chamber the way his is killed is by draining him. Little Sisters help you in the end.

    Who is the first person that contacts you on your radio, once you get out of the submarine?BioShocking

      Atlas. Atlas was the one who called you and told you the monster in front of you was a splicer. Then he told you to go find something to fight back with; 'The Wrench'.

    The forests in Rapture are located in which location?BioShocking

      Arcadia. Arcadia was the "living breathing" forests of Rapture as Atlas put it. It's the one you must help bring back to life, after poison destroyed it.

    What are the 'mini boss(es)' of each level are called?BioShocking

      Big Daddies. Big Daddies are the giant organic creatures with robot suits the have little sisters with them. They won't attack you on sight unless they don't have a little sister or you harm them when they have a little sister.

    For the Irony Achievement you must kill and take a picture of who? BioShocking

      Sander Cohen. Sander Cohen is the guy who told you kill other people and take pictures of them. He is just like the Houdini Splicers.

    How many tonics are there in total in the Physical, Engineering and Combat tracks?BioShocking

      53. Be careful some that you can buy at the Gather's Garden you can also find on the ground. This means you waste ADAM.

    How many little sisters are there?BioShocking

      21. There are anywhere from one to three little sisters in each area and nine areas. If you do manage to miss one you can go back to some places in the submarine.

    How many audio diaries are there?BioShocking

      122. There are ten to twenty audio diaries in each level. On the Welcome to Rapture level you must collect two of them because you can not go back.

    How many different machines that you can use multiple times (ex. Gene Bank/Circus of Values) are there? BioShocking

      Seven. Yes seven: Gene Bank, Circus of Values, El Ammo Bandito, Gatherer's Garden, U-Invent, Security Bot Shutdown Panels, and Health Stations. The reasons others may not be on here are because they must be able to be used more than once each.

    For achieving level 2 photography on a Rosie what do you get?BioShocking

      Photographer's Eye 2 Tonic. Wrench Jockey 2 Tonic is from level 2 Bouncer photography. Rosie almost always drops rare invention parts is from level 4 Rosie photography. Small increase to your maximum Health and EVE permanently is from all levels of photography from Little Sisters.

    In the opening scene, on the tag on the present, the character's name is shown for the only time in the entire game. What is it?BioShock

      Jack. It also signals the first use immortal saying "Would You Kindly...", and is one of the four cutscenes of the game. The package was given to the player as a 'present' from his 'parents'...

    The first thing you see of the marvelous worlds of BioShock is the bleak middle of the Atlantic Ocean, where for some strange reason, your passenger plane has crashed, leaving none alive but you. On walking in the great doors of the lighthouse to your right, a giant bust greets you, along with a banner. What is written on the banner?BioShock

      No Gods or Kings. Only Man.. The bust is of Andrew Ryan. Or Frank Fontaine. Probably Andrew Ryan. The "sweat of his brow" is part of Ryan's introductory speech, given later in the Bathysphere while descending into Rapture.

      The poor. 'No,' says the man in the Vatican, 'it belongs to God.' 'No,' says the man in Moscow, 'it belongs to everyone.' I rejected those answers. Instead, I chose something different. I chose the impossible. I chose... Rapture. A city where the artist would not fear the censor, where the scientist would not be bound by petty morality, where the great will not be constrained by the small.     What is the name of the man that the spider splicer killed as soon as the character docks in Rapture?BioShock

      Johnny. A shortlived character, who pleads for his life before being dispatched by the first splicer that the character sees in Rapture, a spider splicer. This is one of the five types of splicer in the game.

    What is the first name of Tenenbaum?BioShock

      Bridgette. Bridgette Tenenbaum is the adopted mother of all the little sisters. She cares for her 'little girls' like they're her own. She is never actually seen in person in the entire game, save for a glimpse of her you get in the little sisters' hideout.

    What is the code Dr. Julie Langford scrawls on the window of her laboratory when Ryan kills her?BioShock

      9457. Andrew Ryan kills her by releasing toxic gases in her seemingly airtight lab, all the while talking of some broken deal between the two. The code goes into her safe on the wall, which contains the Lazarus Vector.

    What was in the present that the player character received at the start of the game?BioShock

      A gun and some co-ordinates. These were co-ordinates to the exact positioning of Rapture, and a gun to hijack the plane. All were courtesy of Frank Fontaine. This is followed by flashbacks of the character as a baby, with Dr. Suchong and Dr. Tenenbaum.
