This quiz is simple; I say the phrase in the ancient language, you tell me what it means in English. I’ll start off with..."Brisingr!"

    Silver hand. "Argetlam" is a term frequently used by others as a term of respect for Eragon. Silver hand is a reference to his gedwey ignasia, the mark on his hand where he first touched Saphira.

In the ancient language, "jierda" means which of the following?
    break or hit. Jierda is a spell Eragon uses frequently, both to break Urgal's necks and legs.

Which of the following is the correct translation of "Du Vrangr Gata"?
    The path wandering. Du Vrangr Gata is a group of magic users, previously commanded by the twins. Trianna, a powerful sorceress, is now their leader, and is put on a mission to create lace to help fund the war efforts against the Empire.

"Du Weldenvarden", in the ancient language, means "Elves' Homeland."
    f. Du Weldenvarden actually means "The Guarding Forest." Du Weldenvarden is a forest in the northern part of Alagaesia in which the Elves reside.

What is the proper translation of the word "Shur'tugal?"
    Dragon rider. Shur'tugal is a word that Eragon used to help get him into the Varden when stuck on the banks of Kostha-merna, on the front steps of the Varden.

In the ancient language, what does "deloi" mean?
    Earth. Deloi is usually used in combination with other words to make a spell workable. For example, "thrysta deloi" means compress the earth.

If I wanted to slide down "Vol turin", what would I be sliding down?
    A giant slide. Vol turin is a slide that Eragon uses to get to the base of Tronjheim faster than is possible by using the stairs. When he gets to the bottom, he is greeted by a welcoming party including the Shade, Durza.

In the ancient language, what does "Varden" mean?
    The warders. The Varden are a group of civilians that oppose Galbatorix and his Empire. They are made up of thousands of people and are based in Farthen Dur during "Eragon", but move to Surda in the book "Eldest."

What is the proper translation for the word "slytha?"
    Sleep. Slytha is the word Eragon uses to cause the warrior in Gil'lead to fall asleep, after Murtagh's plea to save him. I hope you enjoyed my quiz!
