    She was the cause of a jealousy-based murder. Nesbit married millionaire Harry Thaw, but Thaw couldn't get past Nesbit's prior relationship with architect Stanford White. Thaw killed him. The movie starred Joan Collins as Nesbit, Ray Milland as White and Farley Granger as Thaw.

"Annie Oakley" was the story of the legendary sharpshooter. Who played her?
    Barbara Stanwyck. This was an early starring role for Stanwyck in the 30's.

"Anne of the Thousand Days" was about Anne Boleyn. Who played her?
    Genevieve Bujold. This was yet another film about the adventures of English royalty.

"The Virgin Queen" was, of course, about Queen Elizabeth. Who played her in that movie?

Although "Flight For Freedom" was not really about Amelia Earhart, the tale of a famous female aviator led everyone to assume that there was a connection between Earhart and the movie. Who played the lead role?
    Rosalind Russell. The movie (which co-starred Fred MacMurray) led people to believe that Amelia - like the character in the movie - was on a secret mission for the government when she disappeared.
