    Anaheim Mighty Ducks. Anaheim gave him a huge contract to come and join his brother, Rob, in California. New Jersey was the team he had formerly played for.

    Miikka Kiprusoff. Miikka Kiprusoff re-signed with Calgary. Joseph went to Phoenix, Khabibulin to Chicago, and Thibault was traded to Pittsburgh.

Which of the following players signed with Toronto as a free agent?
    Jason Allison. Jason Allison signed with Toronto. Foote went to Columbus, Stillman to Carolina, and Leclair to Pittsburgh.

And finally, on Tuesday August 23rd, the Atlanta Thrashers traded which player to the Ottawa Senators?
    Dany Heatley. In a blockbuster deal, the Thrashers traded their franchise player for Marian Hossa and Greg de Vries. Heatley was a free agent, and signed with the Senators shortly after the trade.
