Padishar Creel. This quote was taken from 'The Scions of Shannara', on page 235. Padishar says this when he first introduces himself to Par Ohmsford.

"Wren Elessedil. You are as good as your word, girl! Come back out of death to find me, come back to spit in my face, to prove you could do it after all! Shades, you must be tough as nails!"

Tiger Ty. This quote was taken from 'The Elf Queen of Shannara' on page 388. Tiger Ty says this when he picks up Wren from Morrowindl.

"You took my brother prisoner after making me think I had killed him!"

Par Ohmsford. This quote was taken from 'The Talsimans of Shannara', on page 305. Par says this to Rimmer Dall, the Shadowen.

"I know the private-most thoughts of your mind, the little secrets you would keep even from yourself. There need be no games between us, Walker Boh. You are surely my equal in playing them, and I have no wish to do battle with you again."

The Grimpond. This quote is taken from 'The Scions of Shannara', on page 311. The Grimpond tells this to Walker Boh, after he visits him to try and find out where the Black Elfstone is, so he can bring back Paranor.

"No matter how high, or lofty the throne, what sits on it is the same as your own."

Carisman & carisman. This quote was taken from 'The Druid of Shannara', on page 197. Carisman says this to Walker Boh and company after they were captured by the Urdas.

"There is a great deal at stake in this matter. Enough at stake that I will find a way to make this voyage, with your blessing and assistance or without. I would remind you that your father died for this."

Walker Boh. Thsi quote was taken from 'The Ilse Witch', on page 240. Walker Boh tells this to Kylen Elessedil as they are discussing the voyage of the Jerle Shannara.

"I gave up everything to save the elves - my past, my freedom, my friends, everything."

Wren & wren. This quote was taken from 'The Talismans of Shannara', on page 148. Wren Elessedil says this to Eton Shart, Frst Minister as he questions Wren's role as Queen.

"Aunt Ell, no! We can't just give up! How do we know the Loden even works after all this time? It's just a story! And what about the Keel's magic? If we leave, it's lost! We can't do such a thing!"

Gavilan & gavilan. This quote is taken from 'The Elf Queen of Shannara', from page 161. Gavilan says this after Ellenroh says that the elves must escape morrowindl using the Loden. It is followed by: "Gavilan!' Ellenroh was furious. 'We are in council. You will adress me properly.'"

"I only feel truly alive within the vast wilderness of the Northland, for it is only when I am lost within her unforgiving embrace that I find true serenity."

Horner Dees. Horner Dees was the tracker that travelled with Walker boh and company to find the black eflstone to restore Paranor to the Four Lands.

"Down to the island and into the castle? Come with me, and we'll bring the third key back to the Druid before he wakes; It's lying there, waiting for us."

Truls Rohk. This quote was taken from 'The Ilse Witch', on page 332. Truls Rohk says this to Bek Ohmsford, tempting him to go down on the island, Mephitic to find the third key.

"Ho-hum, another day. What fascinating storage room will we be visiting today, do you suppose?"

Coll Ohmsford. This quote is taken from 'The Scions of Shannara', on page 296. Coll makes this sarcastic remark after he and Par have been hiding from the Federation in Tyrsis.

"All day, and what do we have to show for it? An empty meadow. You'd think we could have gotten off at least one shot between us. That boar was making enough noise to wake the dead!"

Quentin Leah. This quote was taken from 'The Ilse Witch', on page 119. Quentin says this after he and Bek fail to bring down the wild boar they were hunting.

"Walker. Let me fall."

Quickening. This quote was taken from 'The Druid of Shannara', on page 443. Quickening says her last few words to Walker, after she was killed by Pe Ell's Stiehl.

"Lida had a very bad fever, but is recovered now. And Westra cut her paw."

The Mole. This quote is taken from 'The Scions of Shannara', page 395. The Mole says this to Damson Rhee, as he talks about his family of soft toys.

"I sometimes think you don't have the sense of a gnat. Indestructible, are you? Half-dead one minute, and whole the next?"

Redden Alt Mer. This quote was taken from 'Antrax', on page 62. Redden says this to his little sister, Rue, after she rescues the Jerle Shannara from Mwellrets.
