Etan Orek invented the Federation's laser-like secret weapon, which would become the cornerstone of Sen Dunsidan's plan to end the decades long war on the Prekkendorran.
2. Who was the Druid that Shadea a'Ru takes as a consort to draw the various Druid factions together and consolidate her power?

Answer: Gerand Cera

Shadea takes Gerand Cera as a consort simply so that she can gain the support of the faction that he leads. She has no real interest in him and kills him as soon as he is not useful to her any more.
3. What is the name of the Straken Lord who was behind the plot to bring Grianne Ohmsford into the Forbidding?

Answer: Tael Riverine

Tael Riverine, a demon of the Forbidding, summoned Grianne into the forbidding so that he could sneak one of his minions into the Four Lands. He also intends to use Grianne as the mother of his offspring.

The Aeriads are air spirits that meet Pen and his friends in the Inkrim. They are children of the Tanequil. Once young girls, their bodies rest deep in the ground beneath the Tanequil and they are free and immortal as long as their bodies are not disturbed.

Aphasia Wye is finally killed by the Tanequil when he tries to kill Bek on the Tanequil's island in Stridegate. The disfigured assassin had been impossible to lose and exacted a substantial physical and mental toll from Pen and his friends before he was killed.

Pen gave two of his fingers, although not necessarily willingly, to the Tanequil as a gift from his body. The gift from his heart, a sacrifice that hurt infinitely more than the loss of his fingers, was Cinnaminson. She gave herself to the tree to fulfill the gift and to become one of the Aeriads.
