Answer: He became very ill and had to rest

He was taken care of by a nice young farming couple. Even though they were only mentioned for a few pages, I really liked them. Without their help, Morgan would have died.

2. What did Damson give to Par that would help them find each other after they were separated?

I thought this a rather interesting magic. Par's magic complicated things though, and caused Damson some trouble in finding him at the end.

3. What was wrong with Matty Roh's feet?

Answer: They were badly scarred and burned

When she was younger, she stepped in a mud puddle that had some type of acidic substance in it. Her feet were quite damaged in appearance but she could still walk on them.

I liked Tiger Ty. He was a really cool character and a good friend to Wren.

Gloon was a really nasty bird, and he had the Shadowen magic to give him even more power. I felt sad when Erring Rift and Grayl were killed by Gloon and Tib Arne.

6. Which of the Horsemen was killed first?

Answer: Famine

Famine was killed by War (who thought Walker was there but it was only an image), then War killed Pestilence after Pestilence gave War several diseases, which eventually killed it. Walker killed Death last.

7. Was Par a Shadowen?

Answer: yes

The Sword of Shannara showed him that he was one because of his Elven heritage and magic. However, he wasn't obligated to be one if he didn't choose to be.

8. What was the name of the Maturen of the Rock Trolls who wanted to join with the Free Born?

Answer: Axhind

Keltset was the mute companion of Panamon Creel in the 'Sword of Shannara'. Amantar was the Maturen during the 'Elfstones' book, when the Trolls helped the Elves fight the Demons. Grobyc was a robot from Chrono Cross.

It was almost impossible to navigate without a guide who knew the way. It was betrayed by the Shadowen Teel and taken by the Federation.

Answer: All of these

Every Shadowen wanted to be Par. Rimmer Dall had 'dibs' on him because he was the First Seeker. Other Shadowen tried to enter into him anyway.
