to the opera. Igor, suspecting Lady LeJean of not being a real person, tails her to an alleyway, where she vanishes. He also follows her to a hotel, and to a large house where she bought 'the lease to a very large bar of gold'. By the time Lady LeJean visits the opera or art galleries, Igor is paying someone else to follow her. It's strange that she never seems to visit restaurants or have food sent in.

'Old Red Eyeth ith back!'. Although Igor had whispered 'That one'th for Thcrapth' when he dropped blood onto the Old Count's dust, this was his shout when he appeared.
