    Crete. Illithyia is from Crete. Hesiod said that she was the daughter of Hera and Zeus but a poet described her as the 'clever spinner' inferring that she has a connection with fate and is possibly older than Cronus. Ithaca is where Odysseus lived, Colchis was where the Golden Fleece was kept, and Erebus is where the Palace of Hades is.

    None. Niobe's daughters were killed by Artemis while Apollo killed the sons. Therefor if you got the answer wrong you fell for my trick question.

    Arktos. In Brauron, five to ten year olds were taking into the Temple of Artemis to serve the priests. Grunos means firebrand, Hebe means fire, Kauma means firewood and Arktos means Little She-bear.

Which Olympian boxed Artemis with her own weapons?
    Hera. During the Trojan War Artemis sided with the Trojans. Hera then got mad about Artemis boasting that the Trojans are better so Hera walloped her around the head. Demeter is the goddess of the harvest and plants, Ares is the god of war and Aphrodite is the goddess of sexual energy and beauty.

A bronze sculpture called 'Artemis and the Stag' was sold for a large amount of money in 2007. How much was it?
    $25.5 million. The sculpture broke the most expensive auction record. The Roman-era sculpture depicts Artemis with bow drawn alongside a stag. The sculpture was sold at Sotheby's auction house by Albright-Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo, New York.

In a version of the death of Adonis, Artemis sent a wild boar to kill him. Which goddess was Adonis a favorite of?
    Aphrodite. Adonis was the favored of Aphrodite so in one version Ares got jealous and sent a wild boar to maul Adonis or, in this version, Artemis wanted to get even with Aphrodite for killing Hippolytus. Hestia is the goddess of the hearth and the home, Bia is the personification of violence and strength, and Atropos is the Fate who cuts the thread of life.

Actaeon was turned into a deer by Artemis. Which element was used to start the metamorphosis?
    Water. Artemis splashed water upon Actaeon's brow upon which he started to sprout horns.

Artemis had a favorite named Atalanta. Who was Atalanta's father?
    Iasius. Iasius really wanted a son, so when Atalanta was born he abandoned her in the woods. Artemis then sent a she-bear to suckle her. Later Atalanta became known as the fastest girl alive. Theseus was the man who slew the Minotaur, Perseus slew Medusa and Atlas holds up the sky.
