    Tom Delay. This was Delay. Yes, he DID say this. It was while explaining at the 1988 GOP convention why he and vice presidential nominee Dan Quayle did not fight in the Vietnam War.

"There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again."
    George W. Bush. This was President George W. Bush, in my hometown of Nashville, TN on Sept. 17, 2002.

"Now tell me the truth boys, is this kind of fun?" (While speaking to hurricane evacuees).
    Tom Delay. Delay is quoted saying this at the Astrodome in Houston on Sept. 9, 2005, while speaking to two Katrina evacuees.

"I AM the federal government."
    Tom Delay. Delay told this to the owner of Ruth's Chris Steak House, after being told to put out his cigar because of federal government regulations banning smoking in the building, on May 14, 2003.

"We're no longer a superpower. We're a super-duper power."
    Tom Delay. This was Delay explaining why America must topple Saddam Hussein in 2002 interview with Fox News.

"Nothing is more important in the face of a war than cutting taxes."
    Tom Delay. This was Delay on March 12, 2003.

"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."
    George W. Bush. This was George Bush in Washington, D.C., on Aug. 5, 2004.

"Guns have little or nothing to do with juvenile violence. The causes of youth violence are working parents who put their kids into daycare, the teaching of evolution in the schools, and working mothers who take birth control pills."
    Tom Delay. This is Delay on causes of the Columbine High School massacre in 1999.

"I was with some Vietnamese recently, and some of them were smoking two cigarettes at a time. That's the kind of customers we need!"
    Other. This was Jesse Helms, a Senator from North Carolina, to a Vietnamese diplomat.

"A woman can take care of the family. It takes a man to provide structure. To provide stability. Not that a woman can't provide stability, I'm not saying that... It does take a father, though."
    Tom Delay. This was Delay in a radio interview, on February 10, 2004.

"I don't believe there is a separation of church and state. I think the Constitution is very clear. The only separation is that there will not be a government church."
    Tom Delay. The majority of America disagrees with this. If you would like to see why there is a separation of church and state, look at the history of the Catholic and Anglican churches.

"Too many good docs are getting out of the business. Too many OB-GYNs aren't able to practice their love with women all across this country."
    George W. Bush. Mr. Bush in Poplar Bluff, Mo., on Sept. 6, 2004.

"Emotional appeals about working families trying to get by on $4.25 an hour [the minimum wage in 1996] are hard to resist. Fortunately, such families do not exist."
    Tom Delay. This is Delay during a debate in Congress on increasing the minimum wage, on April 23, 1996 (Congressional Record, H3706).

"The Internet is a gateway to get on the net."
    Other. This was Bob Dole, a fromer presidential candidate.

"For NASA, space is still a high priority".
    Dan Quayle. This is former Vice-President Dan Quayle who said this, but his quote came from "MAD Magazine", and were not his original words.

"I haven't committed a crime. What I did was fail to comply with the law."
    Other. This was former New York mayor David Dinkins.

"We have a firm commitment to NATO, we are a 'part' of NATO. We have a firm commitment to Europe. We are a 'part' of Europe." was said by which of these US politicians?
    Dan Quayle. This was, once again, our former Vice-President Dan Quayle.

Which of these US politicians said this constitutional phrase? "I am not a federal employee. I am a constitutional officer. My job is the Constitution of the United States, I am not a government employee. I am in the Constitution."
    Tom Delay. This was Delay in a CNN interview, on Dec. 19, 1995.

Which of these gentlemen said this? "Quite frankly, teachers are the only profession that teach our children."
    Dan Quayle. This was Quayle on September 18, 1990.

Which of these politicians said: "They misunderestimated me."
    George W. Bush. That was a nice Bushism to finish off the quiz.
