"You will have to figure out the names of different kinds of animals. A variety of wordplay will be used, including a "wordsearch" type question. NOTE: You most likely will need a pencil and paper for the final question."

2. Rebuses:

A mechanical device used to lift something heavy or a playing card with a knave's picture on it + The chemical symbol for aluminum = A kind of wild dog
    Answer: (One word with 6 letters that starts with "J".)


3. Missing letters:

    Answer: (One word with 6 letters. Fill in the missing vowels to get the animal.)


4. Rhyming:

A young one of these very tall mammals may be known as a _______ calf.
    Answer: (One word with 7 letters that begins with "G".)


5. Hidden word:

This underwater creature waits for its prey to lurch into its toxic spines. The word "sea" is often placed in front of this animal's name.
    Answer: (One word with 6 letters.)


6. Fractured words:

    Answer: (Two words with 6 and 3 letters. The first word begins with an "A".)


7. Before and after:

8. Anagram:

10. Wordsearch:

Now you need to write down all nine answers horizontally, making sure to line up the first letter in each row, the second letter in each row, etc. If there are any answers that have two words, do not leave a space between them. After you've written them all down you should be able to find an animal hidden vertically in the words. What is the hidden word?

Here's an example using only seven words:

If you had these words for your answers you would line them up like this (except more aligned):

The hidden word in this case would be "eel" so that would be the correct answer.
