Pinkins began her 'AMC' career as ambitious attorney, Livia Frye, back in 1991 when Livia came to town with her son, Terrence, and remained with the show until 1995. She returned in 2003 when Livia returned to Pine Valley to defend Kendall Hart in her trial for murdering Michael Cambias.

At one point in the late 1990s, Pinkins was listed as one of New York's top "deadbeat parents" but has since been removed from that list. Rogers originated the role of Taylor Roxbury-Canon in 1992 and last aired in 1995, Tanisha Lynn portrayed Danielle Frye from 2004 to 2007, and Kelli Taylor was a recast of Taylor Roxbury-Canon from 1995 to 1996.

Terrence grew up not knowing his father and asked mom Livia about him but she refused for a long time to divulge any information about him. In the early 1990s, Livia did tell Terrence about his father and mentioned his name was Lucas Barnes. Lucas eventually came to town right as Livia began dating Tom Cudahy and she was torn between both men. Livia chose Tom, accepted his marriage proposal, and they wed.

Answer: Alec McIntyre

In a story that was based on a real life story at that point, in 1994, 'AMC' introduced Jamal Wilson as the son of wealthy businessman, Alec McIntyre (portrayed by Emmy nominee Grant Aleksander). Jamal had no relationship with Alec and took him to court to "divorce" him. Realizing that he had no business being a parent, Alec surrendered his parental rights and both Tom and Livia adopted Jamal.

As for Alec, he married Hayley Vaughn but slept with her mom, Arlene, on their wedding night. Hayley divorced him and he went to prison for the attempted murder of Arlene via alcohol poisoning.

Right around the time Rodney King was beaten by a couple of police officers from the LAPD, 'AMC' decided to explore the concept of racism itself in a racially charged story where Terrence wound up beaten severely by members of a group called Deconstruction, based in Pine Valley. To bust the group, police officer Taylor Roxbury-Canon wore white makeup and infiltrated their headquarters.

This helped in Terrence's uncle, Derek Frye, bringing the thugs to justice in court. They were sent to prison for their attack on Terrence.

Shortly before Angie left town in 1990, she and Derek dated for some time and became engaged but they broke it off before marrying. Angie moved on to the ABC soap operas 'Loving' and 'The City' where she married Charles Harrison and Jacob Foster (a dead ringer for her first husband, Jesse Hubbard).

As for Derek, he dated fellow police officer, Mimi Reed, and eventually married her as well as had a daughter with her, Danielle. Derek and Mimi divorced a couple years later.

Mimi returned to Pine Valley in 2005 to visit her daughter, Danielle, whom she had kicked out of her home a year prior. She broke the news that she was engaged to Garrett but did not know he was really known as The Dragon, the man responsible for killing Noah. Mimi and Garrett married but the union was short lived when he kidnapped Julia and Di Henry and Julia shot and killed Garrett in self defense. Proteus was the code name used by Vanessa Cortlandt when she was at the center of drug trafficking, Cobra was Peg English's code name when she also was a drug kingpin in the 1980s. Nobody on 'AMC' has ever used The Scorpion as a code name.

'AMC' kicked off a serial killer storyline in December of 2006 where a killer known as The Satin Slayer picked off the women of Pine Valley and left a satin flower on his victims' bodies. Alexander Cambias Sr. was revealed to be The Satin Slayer and he killed Simone Torres, Erin Lavery, and Dixie Cooney.

He attacked Danielle Frye and Babe Carey but they both survived. Zarf (who was a trans-gender and later transformed into a woman named Zoe) was accused of being The Satin Slayer at one point but was never arrested for the murders.

Answer: Julia Santos

When the entire Santos family arrived in Pine Valley in 1993, Julia had been sent there earlier to live with sister Maria for her affair with a married man named Bobby Lee. Julia thought of sex as love but then realized what love was when she fell for Terrence.

At that time, Taylor Roxbury-Canon secretly had a crush on Terrence and thus became an enemy of Julia's. Julia eventually broke up with Terrence and found her soulmate after the tornado of 1994, Noah Keefer.

Kendall was charged with the murder of Michael Cambias and Jack Montgomery called up Livia Frye to defend her at her trial. Livia proved to be successful in getting Kendall acquitted when it was revealed that Michael's true killer was Bianca Montgomery, who shot him in self defense. During the trial, Kendall claimed that she was pregnant with Michael's child to throw doubt on her possibly killing him.

However, Greenlee realized she was faking her pregnancy by wearing a pouch on her stomach and ripped off her dress in court, nearly sending Kendall to death row (she was charged with a capital offense).

The Cudahys resided in the nation's capital for several years before they came back to Pine Valley. Derek left Pine Valley in 2008 to be with his daughter in Hawaii (he had sent her there a year earlier to recuperate after she was attacked by The Satin Slayer).
