On that day, they brought along some lipstick and other accessories to pretty Kendall up. They applied lipstick and other cosmetics to Kendall's face in an effort to make her look better.

They also were pushing for Kendall to wake up from her coma, which she did a couple days later.

Maggie was in a relationship, with Jonathan, and he slapped her once. Anita and Aidan noticed that she was likely being abused and intervened to help her. Aidan tracked down Jonathan's first girlfriend, Larraine Rossiter, and found out that Jonathan had first abused her before Maggie. Aidan and Anita arranged a meeting between Larraine and Maggie.

After listening to Larraine, this convinced Maggie to break up with Jonathan.

Mathison received his first Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in 2002 but he lost to his co-star, Josh Duhamel. Duhamel portrayed Leo DuPres on "AMC" from November of 1999 to October of 2002. Mathison submitted tapes revolving around Ryan grieving over Gillian's death.

When Jonathan first came to town, he and Ryan spoke about their sister, Erin, in one scene. Ryan asked Jonathan how she was doing and he commented that Erin graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz. He said that one of Erin's favorite pastimes was going down to the beach of Santa Cruz, California to relax.

Braden appeared on "AMC" from 1998 to 1999 as Ryan's oldest sibling. He and Dixie shared a bond but they were only friends and never got romantic. In a shocking move, Braden raped someone but his brother, Ryan, was arrested for the crime (the charges against Ryan were eventually dropped).

In 2005, Braden reappeared but was shot dead by Jonathan. Gesner also appeared in the films, "Shallow Hall", "Boat Trip", and "Dumb and Dumber."

Erin got a job at Fusion in early 2006 after Babe became a partner in the company. Greenlee had given her shares to Babe once she left town in November of 2005. One of Babe's first actions as a new partner in Fusion was hiring Erin to come on board and work there.

Ryan and Liza had sex, one night, right outside Wildwind after Liza had found out that Adam had cheated on her. It was revealed that she got pregnant and Ryan was the father. In one scene, Adam and Liza fought and Liza fell down the stairs. She received the bad news that she had lost her baby. Test results confirmed Ryan was the father.

Ryan faked his death, in the Summer of 2005, and went to Canada to go look for his sister, Erin. He did find her at a coffee shop where we learned that Erin managed the place. When Ryan went to her home, she blasted him for abandoning her when she was a little girl. In time, Erin came to forgive Ryan.

On Halloween night of 1998, Ryan and Kit argued at a bar and Kit left the establishment. As she walked away, she saw someone wearing a mask and hurried to her car. The man attacked her and Kit revealed that she had been raped. Braden was revealed to have been the rapist but, before he could be charged with the crime, he fled town and was never caught. Jonathan did indeed get married once when he was in Pine Valley from 2004 to 2007. In late 2005, he befriended Lily Montgomery and the two of them had a romantic relationship once Lily learned that Jonathan was like her in being challenged (Lily has autism). Jonathan pretended to be a challenged man after a doctor removed a tumor from his brain. Lily's father, Jack, objected to them being a couple so Lily and Jonathan ran off to New York City, in the Summer of 2006, to get married. Since Lily had just turned 18 years of age, she did not need Jack's permission to marry Jonathan.

They married at New York City's city hall but the marriage was annulled a couple months later once Jonathan revealed to Lily that he had faked being challenged. "AMC" fans were also upset at the pairing and it was the main reason why the show ended the Jonathan/Lily romance.
