Several subcategories in the Movies category are restricted to general submissions. For quick reference, these subcategories have a period following their titles. categories are restricted for a number of reasons, primary among them the volume of quizzes already online for the movie.
Submissions in these categories will only be considered if written by experienced quizmakers. While there is no specific number of quizzes set as a prerequisite, new authors (5 or less quizzes online) will not be considered. The experience level of authors with more than 5 quizzes online will be determined at the editors’ discretion according to the quality of submission and history working with the editors in the process of getting past quizzes online.
If quizzes have extensive problems with grammar/spelling or do not follow the guidelines as detailed in the Movies Quiz Creation Notes, they will be returned to the authors without further editing.
Originality of the questions in these quizzes will be rigorously enforced. If you are creating a quiz in a restricted category, please check all the online quizzes to make sure your questions do not cover old information, as that will result in rejection.
You can create quizzes in these categories, but understand that the quiz will be held to a higher standard and the editors will not be able to spend as much time with you on the editing process, so unless the quiz is submitted in great shape, it will likely not be considered.
