Elton John recorded the single "Crocodile Rock" (1972) from the album "Don't Shoot Me I'm Only the Piano Player" (1973) and Philadelphia Freedom (1975). Both were number one hits, the latter being the first song Elton John and Bernie Taupin wrote as a single. "Crocodile Rock" was inspired by John's discovery of Australian band Daddy Cool and their hit single "Eagle Rock" (1971). Elton John heard the song and the group on his 1972 Australian tour and was impressed by same. It is also the album that is said to synch up with "The Wizard of Oz" (though I've never checked this out for myself). "Moon River", composed by Henry Mancini and Johnny Mercer in 1961, was sung by Audrey Hepburn in "Breakfast at Tiffany's"(1961). The song won an Academy Award for Best Original Song that year.
