Born on 28th May 1908, Ian Fleming died at the age of 56. The last book that he wrote was an entirely different kind of story. A few months before his death it was published - the children's classic "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang".

Answer: Throat cancer

Lifelong smoker Sammy died at the age of 64, wearing a pair of Bojangles cuff links and a watch the Frank Sinatra gave him on his deathbed. Many from the world of entertainment were at his side.

In 1942 his syphilis was successfully treated with penicillin, but the damage had already been done to his brain. At the age of 48, Capone suffered a brain hemorrhage.
