This was the battle of Stoke, which the remaining Yorkists attempted to unseat Henry VII in favour of the impostor (or pretender) Lambert Simnel. The battle of Bosworth field, in 1485, is the battle at which Henry defeated the then-king, Richard III.

Henry VII technically brought closure to the Wars of the Roses on 22nd August 1485 when Richard III, the Yorkist king was killed at Bosworth Battlefield. Henry Tudor then united England by marrying the Yorkist Princess Elizabeth (daughter of the late King Edward IV and Elizabeth Woodville).
