Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In Character Creation, what constitutes a Mental Attribute?

Answer: Intelligence, Resolve, Wits

Intelligence, Resolve and Wits are the correct answer. Dexterity, Stamina and Strength are Physical attributes, and Composure, Manipulation and Presence are Social attributes. Academics, Computer and Crafts are actually Mental Skills, not attributes.
2. Which is these is not a Virtue you can choose?

Answer: Gluttony

Remember the question asked which was NOT a Virtue. All but Gluttony is a virtue, Gluttony is actually one of the Vices you can choose.
3. Which Merit is a merit you can only choose at Creation?

Answer: Encyclopedic Knowledge

Self explanatory, as in the book, "Either your character has been soaking up trivia all his life or he hasn't."

Brawling Dodge and Disarm are physical merits and Allies is a social merit. Just for kicks know that Encyclopedic Knowledge is a mental merit.
4. Which merit in the MET book has this effect: "Your character has a near-photographic memory, being able to recall vast amounts of observed detail with astonishing accuracy."

Answer: Eidetic Memory

Even though all are Mental Merits, the only one of them that has that effect is Eidetic Memory.
5. With five dots in Stamina, how long could your character hold their breath, and not underwater or deprived of breathing, ie. choking?

Answer: 8 minutes

1 minute is for if you have 2 dots of stamina, 5 minutes is correct if you are underwater or deprived of breathing, and 30 minutes is for 7 dots of stamina.
6. What formula would you use to determine your character's Health?

Answer: Stamina and Size

"A character's Health trait reflects his body's capacity to cope with injury and remain functional."
7. What is the base value and sin associated with Morality?

Answer: 7, Petty theft (shoplifting)

"Morality reflects a character's sense of compassion for his fellow human being and basic respect for the rule of law." "Each Morality rating has a threshold of sinful behavior from which your character must refrain in order to avoid degeneration to a lower moral state."
8. What is the is added together to figure out Willpower points?

Answer: Resolve and Composure

"Willpower measures your character's self-confidence, determination and emotional resilience. A character with a high Willpower is focused, driven to achieve his goals, and capable of resisting his dark impulses."
9. What traits are used to calculate running speed?

Answer: Species Factor, Strength, Dexterity

Remember that a character's Speed rating is in steps, not paces, that they can travel in a single turn under different situations. Thus, the Species Factor added to the Strength and the Dexterity would give you the running speed.
10. What is the toxicity of ingesting or inhalation of Cyanide?

Answer: 7

It is in the book as a table for this info.
