Answer: 5

Originally, there were 13 Forsworn. By the time Murtagh was born, there were only five left. When Morzan left to go after Saphira's egg, only threee were left; Morzan was the last to die. Morzan died either when Selena was pregnant with Eragon or when Eragon was a baby.

Eragon assumes that Roran will betray him, as he's the only living relative of his that he knows of. We find out who betrays him in 'Eldest'.
