The book "Wild Magic", where we first meet Daine, starts in Cria, Galla. "Wolf Speaker" takes place in Dunlath. River Drell, Scanra is never seen in "The Immortals", the series about Daine.

2. Where does Daine discover Kitten?

Answer: Pirates' Swoop

Daine finds Kitten after falling through the roof of a cave. Kitten's mother had been killed while protecting Daine and her friends. The dragon asks Daine to take care of her dragonling as she was killed with liquid fire.

3. Daine travels to Carthak, Carthak in order to heal the emperor's birds. What did Daine discover was wrong with them?

Answer: They had lead poisoning

The emperor's exotic birds had gotten lead poisoning by eating the enamel off the decorative metal vines around the birds' room. Daine figured that out after examining the feces the birds had dropped on her while she healed them.

Perin was the most persistant of Daine's swains but nothing became of that relationship.

Rikash helps Daine and Numair get across the Sea of Sand in "The Realms of the Gods". Rikash was killed by giant snake with three heads.

While Daine was pregnant, she shifted shape and the baby got the wrong idea. Daine's mother, Sarra, scolded the baby and it chose to be a human girl. Daine's daughter was Sarralyn.

Daine named her son after her stormwing friend. If you've read "The Immortals" you would know that Daine got to be very close friends with Rikash. Daine honored her good friend with her son.
